I def understand the home & home theory about high & low scoring games, but i cant apply it in this case with lehner in net. Hes been in the AHL all season. Going with the chippy, physical style were are expecting, do we not also see Boston crashing the net hard with their 3rd man in tonight? maybe im just trying to rationalize my over play, but whadyall say?

Man Toronto got waxed - still profited for the day.

Really dont want to dip back under the +100 mark so i might get a little conservative for a few days. We hit a bad week recently and went from +114 down to +93 units. Hope not to do that again if i can help it. Would like to see my W/L numbers separated a little more too but i guess the only thing that matters is how many + units we have.

Definitely agree with Sharks and Flyers over. Hopefully Philly doesn't screw us all like last time. I'll have to do some digging into the Jets game.

I've been following this thread for a while but haven't posted or tailed yet (though I definitely plan to if the hotness keeps up!!!), but as a Sharks diehard I thought I would put my two cents in and warn against going for Buffalo tonight.

Despite the fact that Buff played last night against an incredibly driven Anaheim squad, the Sharks looked great on Tuesday and are playing solid defense even without Murray, in part due to stellar play by Nemo. The Sharks also have a tendency to play really well after deadline trades that actually shake up the roster and move starters rather than picks and prospects (remember the tear they went on once they added Soupy Campbell a few years back? And Bill Guerin before that?) and the combined loss of a solid forward and huge locker room presence like McGinn (outsiders may not know that) coupled with the addition of Galiardi and Winnik seem to be EXACTLY what they needed to get uncomfortable, wake the f- up, and kick-start another run. Plus now with Phoenix in 1st I don't seem them holding back one bit until they're back in the top spot.

There's even the Ehrhoff revenge factor for being on Vancouver when they knocked us out last year and I see a ton of reasons to like the Sharks tonight. Yes I am a homer and yes this will probably bite me in the ass just for even attempting to contribute here but I see the Sharks handling Buffalo, likely keeping them below 2 goals. Predicted final 3-1 Sharks. Good luck, guys.
