going to stick with the 2-games per night philosophy for awhile and see if I can stay consistent. Play the 2 games that I like best and try to sweep or at worst 1-1 every day. Might have just one game (or none) on some days.

foresee a 3-2 type game here. NY Rangers got embarrassed 7-2 yesterday against the Islanders. Lundqvist didn't start in net for the Rangers, it was Pavelec who let in the first 5 goals. Lundqvist came in relief and let in a couple, but he was chewing out his team. I think Rangers will show a better defensive focus tonight, Lundqvist will be solid, and they could possibly win this game as a live road dog. But I like them holding the Penguins to under 3.5 goals.

Quick trends - Penguins have scored 4 or more goals in each of their past 3 games. Rangers have scored 2 or less in each of their last 4 games. In two previous head-to-head matchups this year, these teams split the wins, with both games going Over the total.

ok back to .500 overall record! The NHL season is about Halfway point (a little more that halfway thru the regular season). Looked at some calculations going ahead, interesting notes.....

To achieve .650 pct win-rate for the entire regular season, I would have to go W/L 100-25 = 80% W-L for the rest of the season, which isn't gonna happen.

I track any props and parlays as wins/losses in the overall record, so that has lowered my win rate. Also I have been horrible picking Totals, not sure if that is variance or if I'm just bad on totals.

Nashville led the whole game, allowed Steven Stamkos to tie it 3-3 with 2:12 remaining in regulation and then lost at 1:45 into overtime. The worst part was Tampa played their backup Louis Domingue and while Nashville did score 3 against him, they simply have to win a game against Domingue in their own building. NSH also started their backup Juuse Saros who has been having a down year, but still a superior goalie compared to Domingue.

Highest +profit units so far this season. It should be more, but made some bad mistakes along the way.

I've been sticking with the method of picking no more than two games per day, but added the 3rd game on Thursday which was the 2 unit winner on the Over that I really liked. Will stick with that, one/two games per day - unless I see something I really love for a 3rd pick any day - - and it would have to be a strong enough pick to risk more units on the 3rd pick.

I'll post a Season summary here soon, now that the All-Star game is behind us.

I only have working knowledge in the 3 major American Pro Sports = MLB, NHL, NFL
MLB my favorite sport, with NHL a close 2nd

2017 MLB season was tracked when I joined site midway thru last summer. Might have looked unimpressive because I went down -34 units, but I erased that by the end of the World Series to finish at -1 units on the MLB season. Have had very profitable MLB and NHL seasons in the past.

My purpose is to constantly improve myself, and to be honest and crystal-clear with record-keeping.

College I don't know well enough, so following other threads for all college sports to expand my horizons.

**note: there is a 0.25 unit discrepancy somewhere from the first 25% of season, which I reported back then. +14.57 units is the lower profit amount (vs. 14.82 units). Somewhere I missed 0.25 units but too lazy to try to figure that out.
