#107Not a done deal yet. So is this trade for all picks in the draft? Or just the first two rounds?
As for side bet...the bet last year was for more total points (not who finished higher in the standings). That’s the way I’d prefer to keep it.Comment -

#110I had a feeling he'd chirp in eventually and say sorry but not sorry. Some things are just to simple for some people, Trades of draft picks would require minimum work on LTs part (Just Pre Draft Of Course). Don't "Real Teams " do this, trade picks, isn't this suppose to emulate real ball & teams moves? I beg you to except the changes of this "New World LT" and act accordingly.Comment -

#115The trading of draft picks always creates interest in any league. It's even simpler and easier to manage in redraft leagues as opposed to keeper or more complex.
I've been through this in every league where the rules for trading draft picks vary based on setup but the universal line on trading currency such as points or cash or entrance fees for draft picks or players absolutely without a doubt falls in the cheating/collusion area.
If an NFL team traded a private jet, an island and a few strip malls to another owner for his private and personal use in exchange for draft picks and players then I suppose trading currency or personal assets for league assets would be legal by that metric.
It's obtuse and base, anyone trying to do so not in jest has obviously never played in decent leagues with friends/colleagues. The only currency that exists for trades should be those within the league not outside of it since you are indirectly affecting 11+ owners other than yourselfComment -

#116Your Honor, I withdraw my question. There appears to be some people butt hurt because of it. One thing I definitely don't want is for someone to think I bought my way into staying in this league.
I been called a world class jinx, so maybe this season gets canceled and next year I get a better draft spot.
LT, before you say anything, I'll move future correspondence to League #1 thread.Last edited by CarolinaDaze; 08-10-20, 11:57 PM.Comment -

#118I am not in league 1, Im just fishing for triggers. The only talking in league 2 consists of good game and bol. Everyone is a gentleman and a fantasy shark which doesn't leave much room for entertainment.
The only member who sparked controversy past yr was chaoz for five minutes. If he had a better season I'm sure the league would've been more entertainingComment -

You say everyone is a gentleman and a shark, and they were only talkin was pleasantries.
Then you say it also would have been more entertaining if I wasn't annoyed about using a 20 year old waiver system that nobody on Earth uses. (Which most if not everyone agreed btw). The only griping was between members and LT about using it NEXT year. If I recall he was the only push back and seemed very stuck on it.
So people would have been starting drama and popping off at the mouth if I didn't bring up the waiver system late in the year?
Might want to rethink that one.Last edited by thechaoz; 08-11-20, 12:03 PM.Comment -

#120I know to some it's upsetting that they can't that show up, pick the hot new players on waivers, backups for injured starters/covid players and win, while everyone puts in good time to do research and actually compete.

#137Without BTP (which was much easier to get points), rapdily decling poker points (1st used to pay 375, now 230 or some weak shit), guys unwilling to make loans (scammers abound and hands off approach by sbr), and the uncertain climate, it's been building for a while.Comment -

#140I haven't heard anything about fantasy baseball yet LT, good or bad, and it used to be the number one fantasy league sport. I'm wondering if fantasy football this upcoming season will be based on players sitting out games more than actual production. I can't see anyone playing in every game and missing one game in fantasy football is like missing a couple of weeks in baseball. Think of fantasy owners having Cardinals or Marlins in their line ups or on their rosters just 3 weeks into the season. I don't think teams won't play but I see players not playing and sucking all of the strategy and competition out of fantasy football this year. Just my honest opinion. I will bet it this year, but I don't think I will invest time and energy and 3000 points in players and covid this football season. I could be on an island with my opinion, but fantasy doesn't feel like fantasy this year.Comment
