Bama was ridiculous today. vintage Saban. if only i could forecast better when those games will happen.

i'm not nervous about Wisky. if you'd blindly played line movement today, you'd have backed Michigan, Sparty, Bama/Sparty under, Penn State/UF under and lost, and gotten luck with Northwestern. you'd have won on NU/TT over, UM/MSU over, and be on the edge of your seat with Penn State. no disrespect to TCU, but Wisky rolls, 35-24.

Alright, you got me. I've been talking ever since the game was locked that Wiscy would whoop that ass. I don't know why I hit that nervousness just now. May have something to do with me having 6 units on the game which is a sizeable bet for my tastes. Cheers.

cheers to you too zulu. play what you want, don't want to talk you into something, but the times that i get most pissed gambling are when i switch sides and the one i originally liked wins. usually, if that happens anymore, i just pass on the play. nothing worse than feeling as if you outsmarted yourself.

i like Auburn and Stanford for sure. TAMU looks good too. like the Sugar Bowl over likely, i won't bet Ohio State there. agree that Hartline suspension completely changes Pitt/UK.

big ten hate, huh? i'm going to let it pass. you know not what you say. a conference isn't defined in a day. it's defined in 34 consecutive seasons of leading college hoops in attendance. the Big Ten - enjoy it if you get in, if not, go to an SEC school and let your dad negotiate the terms. i don't hate on anyone else, but in my humble opinion, if you blindly hate the Big Ten, you hate sports. every conference has its merits. bah. Big Ten was 2-0 SU as dog before today, is 0-4 SU as dog, 1-3 ATS. a really bad day, but 3-3 ATS for bowl season (all as a dog), Wisky and OSU pending. say what you want, but Big Ten is only favored in one bowl game, in some part due the fact that every Big Ten team is a good selection for a bowl because we travel the best. we're the girl with the curl, we shouldn't be penalized.

It's all in good fun. In the south, Big Ten hate is taught from birth.

Also, I wasn't talking in gambling terms. I just mean the Big Ten has a bad record against the SEC traditionally. Also, being from Alabama, college hoops isn't my forte. I live and bleed college football. The Crimson Tide= 801-319-43 all time (.707), 31 bowl wins, 26 conference championships, 13 national champs, 6-3 against the Big Ten. No disrespect, the Big Ten is right there with the SEC for best conference. Honestly most of my disdain comes from Ohio State. In all actuality, Wiscy is in my top 5 favorite college teams.

Its a North vs South thing. I'm not a confederate flag flying, Abraham Lincoln hating red-neck, but the south hasn't had much to be proud of in the last 100 years other than college football.

hey, no worries, man. i'm from Richmond, VA, went to college in the South, then school at OSU now i live in Cleveland. when you're from a shitty area, you feel compelled to defend it. i moved to big ten country and love with it, esp being able to play golf in 70 degrees every day in the summer. the important thing is that, unless i'm missing something, we all won on Wisky +3 and all had another solid day. also, i think that we've collaborated to play some good picks and avoid some bad ones, so cheers.

4-1 +10.6u today, 14-8 +16.2u on the bowls, UConn pending. smoke to that. think i'll realize i've had a fortunate day and pass on Fiesta under.

as a follow-up to all the Big Ten discussion, i think that it's important to be clear about something. TCU is an outstanding team, and was, from the best i can see, as good or better than any team in the Big Ten this year, Wisky, OSU, anyone. i still don't support a playoff of more than 4 teams, but a plus-one with, say, Wisky and TCU as the 3rd and 4th seeds sounds very compelling, and most importantly, doesn't really affect the bowl system.
