hoping that that second one will tick up to 66 in the next hour. it's at 65' pretty much everywhere at the moment. that said, i'll play it at 65' if it stays. CU/UNL is headed downward already. so far as sides go, i lean Colorado, Seton Hall, UGA, Sparty in the early games.

3* Notre Dame -4

off 2 road losses at Marquette and SJU, Brey will have his team ready to play. UC is good, but not as good as the Irish, who get a significant bump at home. ND's biggest defensive weakness (forcing turnovers) won't be an issue if they can play to their defensive strengths (keeping opponents off the offensive glass, not giving cheap points through FTs), which would neutralize UC's biggest offensive strength (offensive boards, cheap points through FTs).

if it weren't for the fact that the public is all over the Aggies, i'd go 5*. A&M is tough on the road, and love getting that many points on a very good team in a rivalry game (and they have the best player on the court, Khris Middleton). Aggies 1H +4 and game ML worth a look too.

i spent some time on the NFL games last night/this morning. i cap the NFC game as Pack, 21-16/20-16, and the AFC game Stillers, 27-26 or 24-23. so, despite my previous shitmouthing of my recent NFL totals picks, i'm now liking GB/CHI under and PIT/NYJ over.

I don't think that Chicago has the RBs to exploit the Packer's potential weakness against the run, and as you said, Capers and the GB front can really bother Cutler and perhaps control the game. my biggest concern is if GB's o-line breaks down against Chicago's pass rush. they've been much better this year than last year. beyond that, i think that GB is the better team and will shut Cutler down on third down.

i lean Jets, but Sanchez at Pittsburgh sounds like trouble. he's going to have to win the game and i wonder whether or not he can. there's enough talent all around to have 6+ TDs, maybe 8. i think that both teams will go for it on 4th and otherwise play aggressively in a manner that should result in points.
