BJ, have you looked at stanford/az st? I know az st has had some very close games with wisc and usc (which should have been wins), and only 11 against oregon. Despite being on the road, stanford seems to still be such a better team. Offense is clicking, harbaugh is great coach, and Luck is a well adjusted QB. I think they easily cover -5.5. Thoughts?

C-USA Play

UCF/So Miss o54 (2x)
Listen, this UCF defense is very strong but they will give up points against teams with good offenses. UCF is finally ranked and they should be. Their two losses came in two tight games against North Carolina State and Kansas State. This offense is very good. In the last five games they are averaging 41.4 points per game. In the past two games they have given up 68 points. UCF is a big play team, they run to set up the big pass and it has worked very well this year. So Miss also has no problem scoring and giving up points. The last five games have gone over and in those last five games for So Miss there has been an average of 75 points scored by both teams combined. Think we are in store for another 42-30 type UCF win. No reason this total shouldn't be 60+.

Pac 10 Play

Stanford -5 (1x)
The line is scaring me. Still like the play though but I wouldn't be surprised if the cost a lot of people money come Saturday. The thing is Stanford has been playing so well all year and at times seem just unstoppable on offense. Luck is really, really good and it never hurts that Harbaugh actually tries to cover spreads. The thing is, yes ASU played good last week and have played both USC and Oregon tight. But I had bets on both of those games. I had Oregon and I had ASU last week. ASU had no business covering that spread. They got a kick return and two pick sixes last week to lose by one point. Luck has only thrown six interceptions all season. Stanford is the better team by a lot more then 5 points. I was expecting -8.

Such a good post. Everyone gets caught up in this nonsense (including me) and usually it ***** with your mind more then it indicates the right play. I wish I could go back to the days where I knew nothing about this nonsense and I thought the bookies put out lines like this because they are dumb and I am smarter then them.
