10/30 Saturday Virginia +15 (1x) Yes, another ACC home dog for me here. Despite costing me all that money two weeks ago at home the facts still remain, Virginia is a good bet at home. They play right with teams and to me I still think Miami is overrated. No reason they should be favored by fifteen on the road in conference. To me that is reserved for National Title contenders which Miami certainly is not. Jacory Harris makes too many mistakes to let this team reach it's true potential. That being said Miami does have a few impressive wins this year but I can't put it any other way then to tell you guys that I think this line is too high. Nebraska -7 (2x) I don't know if you guys have noticed but Nebraska is really, really good. They showed a perfect example of how to beat a team last week with a win over Oklahoma State on the road. Now they get the over-ranked Missouri Tigers fresh off of an emotional win over the Sooners. Can you say let down? Yea, I was impressed Missouri won that game against Oklahoma but honestly I wasn't impressed with how they won it. They didn't stand out as a great team. Nebraska despite the loss against Texas has dominated all year and I told you that Martinez would struggle against that Texas defense. So how about this Missouri defense? I don't see it. I think Nebraska will continue to run the ball like the unstoppable force they seem to be and cruise to an easy victory and bring Mizzou back down to earth. Penn State +1.5 (3x) Wow, crazy to see Penn State getting points at home to a team that plays the way Michigan does. I mean the flashy Denard Robinson speed game works but this Penn State defense is rough despite the offense not showing up this year. Iowa handled Michigan pretty well and I am expecting a lot of the same from Penn State. I really believe Penn State isn't as bad as they played early this year and this Michigan defense is the perfect thing to jump start Royster and the Nittany Lions offense. Just don't think Michigan and Robinson do all that much against this defense and Penn State looked a lot better last week. I know Illinois made them look stupid but this line is just ridiculous too me. Michigan isn't this good.

I hate to disagree with you but I just dont see any of these picks cashing this weekend. Penn State is horrible. They have not been able to score on anyone and unfortunately to beat Michigan you have to put points on the board. Robinson is the real deal. Other than Martinez out of Nebraska he is the best running QB in college football. There is nothing that I see on either side of the ball that tells me that Penn State can do anything against michigan who I feel is an average team. Yes there defense is horrible, I agree horrrible but I hate to say it penn states offense is even worse.
I really haven't looked at the Miami game, after what I saw from Miami in the beginning the year to what I saw when they couldn't cover against Duke really scares me.
Nebraska... I just like the points in that game....we were on the same page when they played Texas thinking that line was way too high which we were both 100 percent right on and I wasn't a believer till last week but I think Missouri is for real. Im not saying they win this game but 7.5 is ridiculous. They just beat Oklahoma, I know it was at home and now there on the road but I think Oklahoma is a better team than Nebraska and I think Missouri wins this game.

I'd like to remind you that Penn State has lost 7 of its last 14 home night games. Personally if I was going to put money on this game I'd take Michigan -1.5. -3 would make me think twice however. But at the end of the day, I'm a Michigan fan and I don't bet on my team, especially one with that defense. I almost want them to lose so Dickrod finishes 0-7 and gets fired. Its time for AD Dave Brandon to clean up after Bill Martin and his endless string of desperation hires.

As for trying to make the case that Newsome is better than Bolden, if he was he'd be starting already. Not only did he not beat out Bolden for the starting job, but he's still behind McGloin on the depth chart for Saturday.

Yes, Penn State hasn't moved the ball well but you have to understand their defense is good. It will be a good offense vs good defense and bad offense vs bad defense in that game. PSU will have a few easy touchdowns that they haven't' had all year. If they can hold Bama to 24 why would I think Michigan gets more then that on the road?

The Nebraska game you make a case. Ok, maybe Mizzou is for real but Nebraska is much better then OU in my mind. Playing on the road and playing at home in prime time in a crazy environment are two different things. I would be shocked if Nebraska didn't win that game.

Michigan fan. I don't think Michigan is good. I really don't. I don't think Penn State is bad. I think Penn State should be favored. That is why I am playing and I love this game. Good luck getting Dick-Rod fired I think he may be there another year or two as long as they don't tank the season. I think a bowl win will buy him a year. As for Penn State being 7-7 in night games let's be honest. Most of those games were against Wisconsin, Iowa, and Ohio State. I don't think they are really comparable to Michigan this year.

I have a feeling Nebraska blows out Missouri. It's perfect, we have all seen it before. School no one believes is legit get's a big win on National TV against an overrated ream (OU in this case). Now everyone thinks they are good, until they get blown out on the road the following week. Come Saturday I may get more down on Nebraska. I just don't think Missouri stands a chance.

New information on Kevin Newsome:

I read in the paper a few weeks back (can't recall exactly when, but following a horrible performance by Bolden) that Joe Paterno said he was not ready to give Kevin Newsome the job because he needed to "spend more time studying his playbook". I didn't know what this meant at the time... But now, I do.

Last night here at Penn State was the first night of Halloween festivities. I dressed up in my costume with my buds and went down to a frat... Guess who I saw there? Kevin Newsome. The 2nd string quarterback at one of the most prestigious football schools in the nation was spending his Thursday night at a frat party. Wait, did I mention that this is the Thursday night two nights before the biggest game of the season (assuming that Bama, Iowa are auto losses on the road) and the Penn State white out night game?

So yeah... McGloin, a former walk-on, is starting vs Michigan. His first ever start, under the lights, white out game in front of 100,000+ fans? Regardless of how bad Michigan's defense may be, their jerseys still bring fear out in opponents like this... Count me out of this game, not worth the risk.

Listen, so many favorites this week getting hammered, some of them have to win. Out of that four bunch the only I would play is Utah -7. Utah is built for winning anywhere, home, road, wherever. Air Force is good but I think the books are still overvaluing Air Force based on them being ranked a few weeks back and Utah is getting no love from anyone right now.

Oklahoma is talented enough to cover that number but I wouldn't play it just because they haven't exactly blown people out this year. They blew out Iowa State and had their way with FSU but they struggled against Utah State, Cincy, and Air Force.

Texas A&M I am staying far away from for a while. They had all the makings of Big 12 contenders this year but aside from the first half of the OSU game they haven't shown anything yet.

TCU spread is just too high. I don't like laying numbers that big and when I do it is never ever on the road.
