Hey thanks for the picks...just wondering do you have any thoughts on the illinois michigan game? I watched michigan on saturday & their defence is awful, i think illinois+3 is too good to pass up.

Yea, their defense is pretty ******* bad. But, I don't know I am leaning Michigan initially. I haven't actually dug into it yet though. I am a bit behind this week. Should be getting into the bulk of the schedule tonight or tomorrow.

Anyone who has payed attention to Maryland knows they just aren't a good team. I have caught quite a bit of MD's games this year and they are beating up on bad teams and they don't even do it convincingly. They are by far the most unimpressive 6-2 team I can remember. I am assuming Jacory Harris will be out but it doesn't matter. Miami will be able to shut down Maryland. This game is just like the MD/Clemson game that ended in a 31-7 Terrapin loss. Maryland 6-2 record has come against Navy, Duke, Wake Forest, Boston College, and Morgan State. They lost to Clemson by 24 and West Virginia by 14. Miami should be able to own both trenches, shut down the MD run game, and force a few turnovers off of O'Brien whose numbers look great but he will be making some mistakes with Miami defenders in his face all day. It is one thing to beat the bad ACC teams it is another to go into Miami and try to walk out with a win.

I love this spot for Rutgers. They have a knack for playing well on these week night National TV games and I was in attendance last year when they dominated South Florida 31-0 on a Thursday night. I don't expect the utter domination I saw in that game to repeat itself but I expect Rutgers to play very well. They have played great football against South Florida winning the last four meetings, twice as dogs. I mean Rutgers has a rep for being a bad team this year but I am not ready to go their yet. They are 1-1 in the Big East and aside from being beaten by 20 in Pittsburgh they have played everyone close. So is it because they are bad or because they just are the type of team that plays close games? The loss to Tulane was inexcusable but I think this team is designed to play close games. A hit or miss offense and a good, bend but don't break defense. Keep in mind they have only given up more then 24 points once this year and that was last week. I am expecting a defensive battle and if you want to give me 10.5 points in what I think is likely to be a 20-17 type of game then I will take it all day. Let's keep in mind how much this South Florida offense has struggled this year. They have been held to 14 points or less in three games this year and this is the same team that only beat a miserable Western Kentucky team by 12. The thing is South Florida is good when BJ Daniels is. Daniels proves how great he is one week and then will come back and stink it up the next and look lost. Rutgers has defended him very well because of their disciplined Schiano defense that doesn't let him run and create time. Plus, Daniels has never looked good with pressure in his face and Schiano has brought a lot of blitzes the last few times they have met So Fla. Last year against RU Daniels went 7/17 with a 129 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. That went along with 16 carries for 11 yards in a 31-0 loss in Rutgers. Even before the Daniels regime Schiano was keeping Grothe (a better thrower and runner in my opinion) in check with ease. These 10.5 points are just too valuable here.

I don't think Missouri is good. The line is right. They beat OU at home with a crazy crowd pumping them with adrenaline. On the road they aren't as good. Tech has the offense to make it a rough day for Missouri. I will be watching this game and looking to play the 2H.

Line looks way inflated here. Georgia Tech option attack just hasn't been the same this year. I think they miss Dwyer more then they thought they would coming into the year. No one has stepped up and proved to be effective in this offense as he was. Virginia Tech has been on a rampage since the lost to James Madison winning and covering six straight games since. The thing I stress with these option, gimmick attacks is that some teams just have the speed and discipline to limit the big plays and the effectiveness of the option. When your plan is to run the ball for three downs as long as you can stuff one of them and tackle well you have a great shot at forcing a lot of punts. Va Tech has those kind of players and they have experience stopping this Ga Tech attack. The Yellow Jackets are only averaging 18 points per game over the last five meetings with Va Tech and the last three meetings have gone under totals of 54.5, 40.5 and 41. As long as Va Tech doesn't destroy this defense this one will stay under. I think this is a 31-17 game.

As an aggie fan, I watched Mizzou dismantle the Ags at Kyle Field on both sides of the ball, Mizzou is still playing for the Big 12 Championship and Tech is down and out after getting beat by the Ags last week big. I think theyre legit.

Good luck on that. I did a stupid $35 parlay with a spare $35 I had an account. I parlayed Ohio -15.5/Ohio o45.5/Va Tech -12.5/Va Tech under 56. Pays something like 10 to 1. Va Tech is going to be a tough one to win though.
