Boston College +7 (-115) (1x)
One thing to me sticks out in this game. Clemson loves to run the ball and BC hasn't given up much on the ground all year, in fact under 90 yards per game on the ground. Still don't think Clemson is that good and BC hung very strong with Florida State two weeks ago. Certainly enough talent on this team to go out and grab a win. Look for BC to get their first home cover of the year here against Kyle Parker and company. This match-up is usually a close one and I think with BC's ability to stop the run Kyle Parker has a shot to see a lot more 3rd and longs then he has most of the year and to be honest Parker isn't a guy you want in those situations. You want him to be able to take the easy completions underneath and let his guys run after the catch. BC tackles very well and I am expecting a rough day for the Clemson offense. As long as BC doesn't turn it over too many times they will be fine.

Yes, another ACC home dog for me here. Despite costing me all that money two weeks ago at home the facts still remain, Virginia is a good bet at home. They play right with teams and to me I still think Miami is overrated. No reason they should be favored by fifteen on the road in conference. To me that is reserved for National Title contenders which Miami certainly is not. Jacory Harris makes too many mistakes to let this team reach it's true potential. That being said Miami does have a few impressive wins this year but I can't put it any other way then to tell you guys that I think this line is too high.

Nebraska -7 (2x)
I don't know if you guys have noticed but Nebraska is really, really good. They showed a perfect example of how to beat a team last week with a win over Oklahoma State on the road. Now they get the over-ranked Missouri Tigers fresh off of an emotional win over the Sooners. Can you say let down? Yea, I was impressed Missouri won that game against Oklahoma but honestly I wasn't impressed with how they won it. They didn't stand out as a great team. Nebraska despite the loss against Texas has dominated all year and I told you that Martinez would struggle against that Texas defense. So how about this Missouri defense? I don't see it. I think Nebraska will continue to run the ball like the unstoppable force they seem to be and cruise to an easy victory and bring Mizzou back down to earth.

Penn State +1.5 (3x)
Wow, crazy to see Penn State getting points at home to a team that plays the way Michigan does. I mean the flashy Denard Robinson speed game works but this Penn State defense is rough despite the offense not showing up this year. Iowa handled Michigan pretty well and I am expecting a lot of the same from Penn State. I really believe Penn State isn't as bad as they played early this year and this Michigan defense is the perfect thing to jump start Royster and the Nittany Lions offense. Just don't think Michigan and Robinson do all that much against this defense and Penn State looked a lot better last week. I know Illinois made them look stupid but this line is just ridiculous too me. Michigan isn't this good.

Good point and I probably will for a little smaller. Don't usually post my ML plays but it is always nice to have a FG in your favor when it is 24-21.

How quick we forget. Just a month ago everyone was sky high on North Carolina State and now it seems like they are getting no attention or love. Don't be fooled this is a good team and you guys can give Florida State all the credit you want but I am still not buying it. This game is going to tell us what is what. The crowd will be fired up and NC St always seems to find a way to show up on Thursday nights when ESPN is in the building. Russell Wilson is still one of the best quarterbacks in the country and on the road this year Florida State has been torn apart by the pass. Also, just an interesting little fact NCST is 8-0-1 ATS in the last 9 meetings. Expecting this to come down to Ponder vs Wilson with Ponder making more mistakes and potentially FSU being exposed for what I believe they truly are, an average ACC bowl team.

Can I ask why? USC's pass defense is terrible and Oregon ran all over them last year. I see this staying close for about 2/3 of the game then Oregon doing what it does in the 2nd half and USC not keeping up. I'm heavy on the over as of now cause I think it's a shootout, but am really looking for reasons not to play Oregon here at only a TD?

Washington State +21 looks really solid to me as well. Threet out last week with a concussion and WSU gave Stanford a little more competition then they wanted even when down 24.

Similar situation to last year in my opinion. Not many games do you see Oregon as a home dog but they were +3 last year at home against the Trojans. I played Oregon and they cruised to an easy win. Now this year you see USC (a very rare home dog) getting a full touchdown in this one. Why? Sure Oregon has looked very good this year and I already locked in my Oregon to win BCS Championship +800 bet but Oregon hasn't exactly had the toughest road here and this is going to be the most talented defense they have played. I know USC has struggled on defense but the bottom line is all these kids are players and won't get out run by the quick Oregon offense. Matt Barkley has been incredible this year and could make it tough on the Oregon defense. You have to remember that Oregon's home field advantage is the best in the country and when they went on the road to Tenn, Washington St, and Arizona St they didn't exactly turn in their best performances. They haven't won here since 2000 and in the previous two meetings in this stadium Oregon has been held too just 20 points combined. I think Oregon is a little too confident coming in, they have needed to convert a lot of 4th downs to keep drives alive and if they start missing some of those against a good USC defense capable of making plays USC could get off the hook easy. Should be a great game but I think we finally see Oregon held under 40 points.

Can't justify backing Washington State. They are capable of losing every game by 40. Some days they show up, some days they don't just a crap shoot. That being said I don't think ASU is quite worthy of being 21 point chalks in conference. I refuse to play the game but I guess if I had to pick WSU would be my play with all those points. GL whatever you decide.

Boise on National TV, they know they need to pound La Tech into the ground for some brownie points with the polls. Boise has a habit of blowing these teams out, especially at home. Every time they have played a non-BCS school this year they have been leading the half by at least 29 points. Boise can absolutely put up points in a hurry and I think the 21.5 holds a little extra value just because Boise has a habit of going for a 2 point conversion early in the game. Boise should be up by 28 pretty quickly.

I personally don't approve of picking ACC Football, but the Nebraska pick looks good. Remember, Nebraska only lost that game due to *8* dropped passes, including 2 layups that would have gone for wide open TDs. Mizzou has managed to tighten it up on defense this season, but they still almost lost to San Diego State.

As for Penn State, that's way way way too much respect for them. They are literally playing like the worst team in the Big Ten. Penn State just gave up a combined 64 points to Illinois and Minnesota at home. Both Iowa *AND* MSU's defensive performances against Michigan were VASTLY overrated. Those teams won because of unforced turnovers, plain and simple. Neither really stopped Michigan. Iowa came close, but when Denard struggled to throw, in came Forcier and he tore it up. Michigan's defense is pretty terrible, but when you're up against a true freshman QB who misses wide open receivers and doesn't even attempt to throw the deep ball, defense shouldn't be an issue because Penn State will stop itself on offense. It might in Happy Valley at night on Halloween, but this is still the easiest game left on Michigan's schedule, even easier than Illinois at home and Purdue on the road. If Michigan loses this one, Dickrod's career at Michigan is over, because hey will finish 0-7.

They were on the road against Minnesota. You can call the efforts overrated because of unforced turnovers but Michigan is a flashy gimmick offense. When you frustrate a flashy gimmick offense they get frustrated. The bottom line is without Robinson Michigan is what they have been the past few years: a bad team. If Robinson can't run and Forcier has to come in Michigan only gets worse. Penn State won't stop itself on offense because they have Royster. He hasn't had many wholes to run through but he has had a defense like Michigan yet. Happy Valley, night game, Halloween, I know a few students and they are psyched up for this game. That crowd will be nuts and I don't know how Denard will react to a defense capable of stopping him and a huge crowd screaming expletives at him.

I have no explanation other then guys like agharah1 who want to stick a fork in PSU and think Michigan is actually a good team. Lot's of money coming in on Michigan and if everything continues I will make this my first max play of the year tomorrow. I absolutely love this game, seems like not many do, usually a good sign. Here is some more on this game...

Right now 60-68% of the money is coming in on Michigan depending where you look. But, the line is up to 3 and most places are now juicing Penn State and offering + money on Michigan.

Michigan's first tough road game in a while. Forget the teams on the field, look at the environment. Everyone wins @ Notre Dame nowadays and there is nothing like Happy Valley on a Saturday night.

Penn States problems have been on offense, not defense. They are still giving up just 18 points per game, they are still a good defense. Alabama only scored 23 off them and they absolutely baffled Temple. Illini was the only team to get over 24 against them and seven of the 33 they got came on a pick six. So offense bad, defense still good. What is the best cure for a bad offense? A bad defense. Michigan certainly is. They can't cover anyone and despite what people think Bolden isn't a complete lost cause.

It's not the prettiest play, it's actually ugly. But Penn State will win this game.

Michigan one of my biggest plays this weekend. Psu is god awful this year people are still giving them tooich credit for their past Michigan is already battle tested and denard will be much healthier this week. I don't know that home field is gonna help psu much but the only reason this line isn't 7-8

Ummm. Battle tested? Really? Who did they play? They played MSU and Iowa and lost both. The rest were all soft defenses or small programs.

Really more of a feel play then anything. Think the line is way inflated after two blowouts the past two weeks. Arizona is still sketchy on the road to me. Only beating Washington State 24-7 might as well be a loss and @ Toledo doesn't count. I thought Brehaut threw the ball well against Oregon, all things considered. I mean the numbers aren't flashy but he made some good, safe decisions against a very good defense in a very tough environment. I just have a gut feeling UCLA gives them a tough time.

Paterno said Bolden (QB) will probably not play... And as an avid football fan and someone who hasn't sat past the 3rd row (3 hours early every game!) I can honestly say that Bolden is horrible and is the reason why our offense sucks. Our OL hasn't been good run blocking, but Royster has turned around... Futhermore, it's tough to establish the run when your QB isn't respected by other team's defenses. Bolden stares down receivers. I have watched every snap of every game this season, and I have counted a total of 5 times that he has looked past his first read. Ok, moving past Bolden... Newsome, a running QB, gives us the best chance to win IMO. He is more explosive than Bolden, and more ballsy too. Our defense, albeit very beat up, should be able to contain the vastly overrated Michigan offense.

Good info, wasn't sure if Joe had actually said that yet but I did hear it was being strongly considered. They are so touchy with concussions I knew there was a good chance he wouldn't play. No matter who starts I think the focus will be on running to set up the pass. I agree, from what I have heard Newsome would be a much better fit. I know a handful of students at PSU and they said the same as you about him.
