I can't wait for the new lines. I don't know about you Pags, but taking even small losses makes me hungry to bounce back, even more than winning...sign of a true gambler I guess...luckily we have months to right the ship bro

Tough Week--I lost a Lot.

It was a tough week. I lost a lot.

It could have been worse. Harry N. Lloyd, also on SBR, was 12-2 in the first two weeks. But, this week he went 1-7!

Still early in the season and there's a lot of time to make money. Pags is as good a handicapper as he's always been. Three tough weeks in football is like three bad days in baseball, it just stretches out longer. It happens to everyone. Nothing to worry about.

You are not only WRONG, but you also do NOT know what you're talking about..........because you obviously have no knowledge of pags' tiered money management system that he uses year after year to win. Once he is running his 3 unit plays & hitting on all cylinders, it would only take one Saturday to get himself back in the black.

I'm 6-11 so far in NCAAF this year. That's bad, but here is what would be worse: If I went on to a forum and bitched and cried to everyone and pointed fingers at another capper and blamed him for my misfortunes.

All you guys who are knocking Pags need to go look in the mirror and realize that the person staring back at you is the one who places your wagers, not Pags.

Pags - this was a 1.5 unit week so you're down 4.50 units this week, not 6.00...Hard enough start to the year without cheating yourself

I think you may have misinterpreted my post. It was not a knock on Pags, who I respect and whose longterm record speaks for itself. I was merely referring to Nickelicious' rather lame "bet" since it was so ridiculous (well, maybe some people on here would take it. Personally I have a passing acquaintance with the laws of probability and so would just laugh in his face).

My picks? I just flip a coin ten times each week and go with that. I usually end the year down 4 to 5%, due to the vig. I'm so consistent I just pay my bookmaker the 5% up front. If I do better than that I'm thrilled

BOL Pags. I think you're a cool, upfront kind of guy and I hope to learn a thing or two over the course of the season. HtH

Capping football games is very hard everyone. Remember that when you are sleeping, the lines/oddsmakers are awake. No matter how much work you put in they are ahead of the game. If capping were so easy, the Vegas Strip would look like Beirut.

there are people who bet mostly faves and mostly dogs, and both of these are bad because over the course of a year, 50% dogs and 50% faves will cover, so you are screwing yourself off of half the board when you predominantly bet only one vs the other. the strongest cappers will be the ones who mix in a nice combo of faves and dogs, both

A lot of cappers usually don't do well in early of the sport season.. Here is my thought. Data are biased in the beginning of the season. However, data become unbiased after many games are played. The more games are played the data are more accurate. Cappers tend to have more control in handicapping and able to precisely predict the outcome as the season goes deep. Pags11 is a great capper. Sure he'll bounce back. Good luck, Pags11.
