Just got Northcoast Sports/Phil Steele Bowl newsletter, one of my favorite reads of the capping year. We are banging heads early on and agreeing on a lot late.

I've got UNC -2.5, GB tomorrow -3, Oregon -13.5, and Texas Tech Over 71.
UNC is far more Athletic and should get what they want.
GB is dangerous if Rodgers and lacy are healthy. Bears can't stop a nose bleed.
Oregon to me will be healthy for the first time in a while. I figure Texas has checked out.

The over in packers/bears looks like a real nice bet, especially if the snow on the ground

great start to the bowl season bud! im 100% with you on IOWA and that's very unusual for an SEC lover like me, but with mettenberger out and the performace of iowa in the last few games, I think +7 is a hell of a good number, especially with the coservative play styles both teams are known to have (lsu not so much this year but Im pretty sure that's gonna change this game with mettenberger out)....I was really surprised when the line was realeased I thought the number would be a lot lower but then again the books are probably expecting the SEC money to give them even money regardless when playing a big10 team im sure there's a lot of dumbasses putting money on LSU for that reason alone....definitely pounding +7 and a sprinkle on ML
