Hmmm, i like that, Big Boi. Looks like it's about -120. Stanford ML looks really good with Max Bullough out for Sparty (i think that's really going to hurt them in a very physical game). Morning Biff. I'm a little under the weather so slow moving this morning. Before I get to Neb/UGA, I really like the Hawkeyes today. They get up for these bowl games vs SEC teams. All anyone wants to talk about is team speed and how Iowa wont be able to hang bc they are to slow. There is some truth to that especially vs these LSU WRs. However I like Iowa for the following reasons: they will be motivated, not the stout LSU defense we are used too, and LSU qb is a freshman getting his first start. Don't think he's ready to deliver to these stud LSU WRs. Really like Iowa getting 7.5pts

There are whispers that Ga Southern wants to talk with Bobo about their head coaching position. I don't think he leaves but it's always interesting this time of year with all the changes & openings. I don't see this being a distraction bc the focus these last few practices has really been on Mason and getting him reps. I still think the over is a pretty good bet however I think I'm leaning more to UGA TT over. Mason plays better when UGA goes uptempo so I think we will see UGA play faster on offense. I worry a little about Neb putting up pts even as bad as UGA has been on defense. UGA has been good vs the run. Neb will have to throw vs this defense and not sure they are capable with their personnel. Thoughts? I really like UGA to win this game and think they get 34-38 pts. I'm not sure Neb is capable of putting up 27pts unless they get a few turnovers. In addition to Iowa +7.5, I think my plays will be UGA over TT and going to tease UGA -2.5/SCarolina +7.5. I know you like Wisky but I really like Connor Shaw to be the difference in this one.

Morning, STF. Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. Perfect excuse to melt into the couch for a great day of football, i suppose, but hope that you get well soon. Agree in a big way on Iowa. With Mettenberger out, I make this game as roughly even or maybe LSU by a couple of points, so a TD and the hook looks great to me.

I'm gonna have to think some more on UNL/UGA. I agree on UGA getting 34+. UNL defense is soft and gave up 34+ to Wyoming, UCLA, Minnesota, Sparty and Iowa, and UGA offense is as good or better than all of those. Maybe i'll split my bet on that game, go 1u on UGA TT over and then also play UGA/Tree ML parlay. While i don't generally play side and total in same game, ML and TT isn't really the same thing (at all).

I love Wisky today, but hey, we can't agree on everything. Besides, at Wisky by a FG to a TD, we both win. BOL today STF.

Iowa, Wisky and Bama among my favorite leans from outset, just happens they're bunched close together. Haven't been varying units nearly as much this year (played 5* Vandy, 3* UCLA, 3* BYU and had 5 1* plays last bowl season)

Now ready for nfl playoffs and the best part of the NCAA hoops season! Wanna go hard on fsu in championship gm but no clue if I'm right or not? Lol.. I have that something like Noles, 44-30, so like Noles/over/Noles TT over. Completely agree that one-dimensional vs Noles defense with time to prepare is not going to be a recipe for success.

I'm scared of bama gm.. I have bunch of bama fan friends and they all see a Utah scenario where bama doesn't give a shit cause they not in their rightful spot playing for bcs title and I kinda agree. Main difference is they play crappy stoops and his bum team so no faith in them to bring A gm either.. On paper bama rolls but why u think u see their best effort? I don't buy that and my bama boys all kinda think same..

I have that one at around 48-49 points, so slight under lean. However, I'd be more likely to take Sooners TT under 17' than game under 51' as i think that Bama gets right around their TT over 34. Agree that if Bama comes prepared it will be ugly, and i feel pretty strongly that they'll come prepared. Probably like OU TT under 17' a little better than Bama minus points now that that is -17.

Agree completely that the SEC's dominance in recent years is giving us some value here. I was initially leaning more to FSU TT over, which should be around 38, but if Auburn has to play catch-up, things could get out of hand with their lack of ability to scare Noles with passing game. So, now i'm leaning a little more towards Noles side and becoming concerns if Auburn can do their part to get the game over.

Saban is the best, and while he is not perfect (see, e.g., his team's and his own grabassery vs Auburn), he doesn't often make the same mistake twice. In any event, even if offense is sluggish, i really don't see Sooners scoring over 17' absent defensive/special teams big play to score or set up a score.

I had Sparty full game so def felt Sparty would keep it within a TD.

I miss the days when Dawgs used to play defense. Haven't been good on that side of the ball since Van Gorder left after the '04 season. I like the way Sparty plays defense and would to have that in Athens.
