martinez was more impressive coming in on short notice than his last fight. Maybe he fought better competition, but still, that threw me off. I dont know what to expect from martinez. Even at + money im not going to invest.

yeah wasnt based on ability that I thought he'd be dog, just more on fact that Martinez is a Jackson guy who almost beat a much bigger guy on short notice and then won his last fight, while Cruickshank is coming off TUF wer he got finished early on. Thought that would be enough to make Cruickshank the dog

Ben Henderson by close another close Decision

Shogun vs. Gustafsson is supposed to go the distance? In what Universe?!?! Someone, please fill me in. All I see is Sub or TKO.. Unless he has some sort of Hand or Leg injury, Gustaffson should win this fight quite impressively. He's too hungry to let it go the Distance. He knows what finishing Shogun can do for his career. If Shogun comes out lookin Sluggish, Gustaffson should be able to mix in grappling with his overall size and strength advantage to make Shogun wear down and out. Might go over 2.5 Rounds, shouldn't go the distance.

BJ Penn vs. Rory Macdonald

RORY BY DECISION. BJ is going to look pretty good, might even win a round... but Rory should be able to hang in there and pull it off. He will advance in line for a title shot. But I would be very impressive if he finished BJ.

Value on the Over 2.5 . I knew I capped that one kinda high.. On paper, Means should finish him but I see value on Killa Trujillo straight up, being I see him losing a close Decision.. training with the Blackzillians, he will come with better TDD and more overall aggressiveness. Tim Means should win, though.

I hear ya but he's also been incredibly passive in a few of his fights, menji he played it safe, dodson fight was pretty much a sparing match, and his robbery win against beebe he didn't impress. Not saying he can't lay it on assuncao and go for it like the papazian fight which was impressive, but assuncao isn't a passive fighter and I think he can also bring it strong to easton. I'd put easton around -140, so I see some value if raph gets to +200ish. I think easton has more power and crispness to his strikes, but assuncao's hands and especially kicks ain't bad and I'd give the grappling edge to assuncao. Gonna be fun either way, GL bruddah.

I'm tempted to play daron... Hope he goes down closer to even and I might make a play.

I wasn't impressed with martinze last time either and if I remember we all had some nice cash on him here and it was damn close lol...

I think cruishank is much much better than martinez' last opponent and not to do mma math but its hard not to compare the two and martinez' last fight. I've seen some pretty impressive glimpses from daron, and also some pretty 'meh' moments. Not impressed with him against tickle, solid win but not impressed. yet I think he controls tthis fight where he wants it, so if it doesn't work out on the feet with his tae kwon he can use his legit wrestling to perhaps take it on the ground. But i do give henry the jitz edge so I don't know if daron wants that option.

You all think daron would win a striking match with henry? I'm thinkng yes, but can't say that with confidence and I think that's what you're banking on here.. I thnk henry has a legit guard, so daron probbaly wants to keep it upright and he has the wrestling to keep it there if he wants to or he can take it down if not I think...
