You went totally against me last time and you're totally against me this time, as well, including my biggest play Evan Dunham.
Nunya, you're on Lentz?!

Nope, I would've played Dunham at better than -250 or Lentz at better than +325. At current prices I'm uninterested.

I agree Dunham is the better overall fighter and should be a big favorite. But like I said in your thread, Sherk did just enough to steal 2 rounds against Dunham. Lentz has done that before and very well could do it here. I expect it to lose, that's why it's such a small play, but it has a chance to win if Lentz fights like a blanket. No way I'd ever lay -375 on someone like Dunham against a wrestler like Lentz.

If Lentz couldn't do it against Bocek, you think he can against Dunham?

Probably not. But then Bocek is bigger than Dunham and fought very smart by actively looking for and achieving take-downs against Lentz. Sometimes the best way to cancel out a wrestler is to beat him at his own game which Bocek did. There's no guarantee that Dunham will do the same - he's a lot more likely to want to keep it standing and pick apart Lentz. Tht might well be a successful strategy, but nonetheless it gives Lentz more opportunities to be the one showing "octagon control" and pressure which looks good in the judges' eyes, rather than being on his back for large periods like he was against Bocek.

Let's just agree to disagree and then one of us can through out a big "I told you so" to make the other look stupid after the fight.

Currently have a huge bet on Koscheck for UFC 143. That may be my only bet on the card unless something really stands out when lines are released. May also play Condit if the line continues to go up.

At current time, I too am in the Koscheck and Condit (if line movement continues) camp...

He should be favored. But like more_betterness (I think) said, no way I take that big of a favorite with unproven TDD against a very good wrestler.

I relate him to the likes of Aldo and Barboza, so I expect him to have similar TDD.
Though, I'm not worried about Scotty taking him down. Renan has got some sick BJJ. A triangle would make for a nice finish to this fight.

UFC 143
Josh Koscheck -220 (44u to win 20u)
This is the largest MMA bet I have ever laid down. May buy back some before the fight, but undecided as of now. Leaving for vacation in Mexico in a few hours! I will probably miss the prelims but making the gf go to the bar with me for both UFC PPV and the SuperBowl. She's real excited. Looking at Roy Nelson too.

I did that to my wife when we were on vacation during the Kimbo/Shamrock fight. Had the biggest wager of my life on it at the time. Get to the bar and find out I don't have any money on it at all anymore. She was pissed. I stayed and watched the card anyway. SUPER PISSED.

No woman should get excited from looking at Roy Nelson...

I have wired internet in the room at the resort, so that's a bonus. They have an all you can eat and drink SuperBowl party at the resort for $30. Just need to find UFC 143 tomorrow and I'll be set.
UFC 143
Josh Koscheck -220 (44u to win 20u)
I think I'm going to let it ride, especially after the weigh in. Koscheck has a nice size advantage. I really thing Pierce should be at 155.
Roy Nelson +140 (2u to win 2.8u)
Alex Caceras +120 (2u to win 2.4u)
Clifford Starks +260 (1u to win 2.6u)

Thanks. Funny thing is I had no idea what was going on. Caught the last few prelims at the bar, but they were playing music so no sound with the fights. I still have no idea why Herb Dean took 2 points from Caceras. Then when the PPV came on they turned on the volume a little, but it was in Spanish. I really had no idea what happened in the Kos fight either. Never heard the warnings or anything. Didn't hear the scores and my heart was beating like crazy until they raised Koscheck's hand.

I'm not going to tell you guys how much I really had on Koscheck. 44u is all I would admit on here. I have been extremely good with bankroll and bet size over the last two years, but really went overboard this time and almost paid for it. I did manage to get one unit on Condit at +185 before the fights but never got it posted, so not counting it.

UFC on FUEL TV 1
Jake Ellenberger -225(22.5u to win 10u)
Dave Herman -130 (6.5u to win 5u)
Aaron Simpson +100 (3u to win 3u)
I'm not going to arb at all with Diego Sanchez, as I really don't think I need to. Although if he gets any higher I might have too. I wish I would have hit the Ellenberger line for more, I can't believe he opened at -215. I really wanted to play Menjivar, but wanted better than -200.
Spent 6 hours in the airport yesterday in Mexico before the flight got cancelled. I was supposed to be back home yesterday but now have to fly home today and won't see the fights live.
