#108Thanks bud. It was a good night. Going against overly hyped fighters is without a doubt the best way to make money betting on MMA.
Both Cerrone and Rumble are good examples of people overestimating guys for dominating shitty fighters. I'm not trying to rub it in to their supporters but it's not all that hard to spot these soon to be derailed hypetrains. Elite new guys like Rory and others are obviously hyped guys to avoid betting against, but it's crazy how often slightly above average guys are acclaimed to be "elite" for no apparent reason.Comment -

#109WHOA WHOA WHOA-- The ONLY reason Rumble lost that fight was 'cos he wasn't fully hydrated and healed up. When have you EVER seen him tire out that quick?
Rumble is a very talented fighter, if healthy. His skills are not over-estimated. Neither are Cerrone's. Cerrone lost that fight not because he didn't have the skills to win, but because he was too dumb to use them properly. He's a good wrestler and wrestling is the Diaz brothers' weakness. He avoided wrestling altogether simply because Diaz told him "You better not try none of that gay wrestling shit." So stupid.
Also, he could have done a lot more with his kicks. Cerrone's 4 UFC victories have been amazing. You can't say the guy is over-hyped. He finished 3 of 4 fights in 1 year and went the distance with Nate.Comment -

#111How can you be so sure of that tho? If he had been fully hydrated and healed up he might of stood for longer and ended up getting TKO'd/KO'd anyway! He tired out and gave up against Koscheck and Clementi in the second - two fighters tht like Belfort pressured Rumble and made him wilt.Comment -

#112I honestly believe that Vitor can't last 2 full rounds with a healthy Rumble. Rumble dominated until he got tired.
Also, ref standing them back up was a bad call, as Dana White himself said.
I had my fingers crossed that he would get a TKO before he tires out. Sucks.Comment -

#114I disagree with you gabe. Rumble Johnson should have never been at -115 against Vitor Belfort. And Cerrone should have never been -275 against Diaz. Anyone who argues otherwise, especially about Cerrone, is CRAZY.Comment -

#115And I think that it became obvious fairly quickly that Rumble could do nothing from Vitor's guard.Comment -

#125Are you rich? Didnt you loose 1200 dollars last night on AJ?Comment -

#127Kinda. I don't necessarily think that Davis is overhyped but this is a terrible stylistic matchup for him. Rashad should be able to stuff the takedowns and let loose with his hands. I thought that Rashad looked better against Ortiz than ever before and Davis really didn't look too great against Lil Nog. This being a 5-rounder pretty much seals the deal. I see Rashad as somewhere close to -300.Comment -

#137Rumble was prob 20 lbs bigger than Koshchek and got thrown around and choked out.....now he's at 197 for weigh in? It didn't take a rocket scientist to tell that he wasn't that dedicated and would crumble at first resistance.Comment -

#139I've been waiting to fade Mike Easton and am absolutely ecstatic about getting Papazian as such a huge dog. Wow. As I've stated before, I like Guillard to win and am surprised to get him as a dog as well. Shalorus should be closer to -200.Comment
