honestly,i think there are some natural physiological differences in special black athletes.......many,many times,when you look at the tale of the tape between similar sized fighters in boxing,the black fighter has a longer reach...

and fast twitch muscles?...my god....look at demetrious johnson`s quicks...guillard`s.....bones jones....roy jones in his prime...ray leonard...

it`s not the rule...but in some black fighters,i think there are some natural physical advantages....when they have "it"....

quicks...you need it in the nba...you need it to play corner in the nfl...

i don`t think it`s racist to point out some natural differences...shit,i wish i had those physical gifts....

it`s not something you can learn....

Interesting line movement with Silva - Belfort... Feel like I'm being lured into putting a ML bet on Silva... after watching Belforts fights with Overeem and Zikic (which can be viewed on youtube), I had to remind myself that he has decent takedowns. Could get interesting if he gets Silva on his back.

i have silva in 2 pars(with nick diaz).....and a hedge with "belfort wins in the 1st" at +600.....

i never liked belfort....i think the difference in class here is very large...and belfort doesn`t have that one overwhelming ace in the hole(like sonnen`s grappling)with the exception of his early,sudden power......

i think if belfort gets lucky,it`ll be pretty early on..a bullrush with a big shot....and his lefty stance shouldn`t help much vs another guy,who though right handed,fights lefty quite often.....the longer it goes,the worse it should get for him.....

i see the taller man`s muay thai ending things at some point...

what stuck out to me on the pre-show show was belfort`s physique back in his phenom days compared to now.....

he`s much,much softer....wonder if testing in the ufc will kind of queer the deal for us seeing "the best belfort there is"?

Suppose he could clown around, but I really think Silva is coming out to make a statement -- he's already clowned around with Maia, and we all know how that turned out for him... In addition, after the Sonnen debacle, I think he's ready show he's still atop the heap. Not sure if I'll make a play on Silva ML or whatever, but I think this one ends in 2 or 3. I think round 1 will be a feeling out process... But if these guys feel eachother out for 5 rounds and it goes to a decision, I'll be severely disappointed.

This card should be great. It will be nice to see Silva have to fight for once. There is no messing around or half-assing it with Belfort. I really like Belfort at + money.
