UFC president Dana White recently sat down with the always entertaining Jim Rome to discuss all things UFC.
During the interview Jim addressed the Jon Jones situation and asked Dana White to comment on what Jones had been saying.
Here is a snip from the interview:
Jim Rome: “Jon Jones said he felt like he was treated like a piece of meat by the UFC.”

Later White unfavorably compared Jones to Stephan Bonnar and Chael Sonnen.
Dana White: “Silva called to say ‘Hey Boss, I’ll fight at 205 and save the show in Las Vegas on 8 days notice’ but it was a few hours too late. So when this happened, I called him up and he stepped up and said ‘Absolutely, I’ll fight. I only have 3 weeks to make 185 and can’t do that right now. But I will fight at 205. And I thought, how can I find someone at 205 willing to fight him when we couldn’t find at 205 willing to fight Jon Jones on a month’s notice.
“Then I get a call from Stephan Bonnar and he is pumped. He says that Silva is the perfect style for him and he wants this fight more than anything. Does this fight make sense? Of course it doesn’t. But the bottom line is that Anderson and Bonnar stepped up.
“The biggest shocker about Jon Bones Jones not fighting is that he was coming off of a long camp and ready to fight Dan Henderson. He was ready to go for a fight and Chael, who hadn’t been training and was smaller, was willing to fly to Vegas that night to face him.”

Any of you in America know how I can check whether an American based company are legitimate? They rang my brother up saying that they are representing a customer that wants to purchase some shares that he owns in a leisure company...said they found him on the shares register or something. They aren't asking for any bank details or anything but it still screams dodgy scam!... they are called: Stansell Corporate Services and their website is: www.stansellcs.com

Any help would be appreciated and thou shall be showered in points for thou troubles!

Stansell Corporate Services does not come up when entered into the US Better Buisness Bureau search engine (http://www.bbb.org/us/). And, the phone number (Seattle based) on their web site is already out of service - that should tell you all you need to know.

i searched the secretary of state website and there is no company registered with that name. for future reference, if you want to find out if a company is a legal entity, you should check the secretary of state's website for the state that the company is located. not all companies are registered with BBB.

Really? Cyborg just got her brown belt from Andre Galvao. She trains in San diago with ATOS perhaps the top school when it comes to bjj, and probably the best womens bjj team. Kyra gracie left gracie barra and joined ATOS to get ready for the worlds.

I'm interested to see it Cyborg will still be a total penetrating powerhouse in the strength department sans the roids. I know they don't magically increase strength, but I'd assume she'd have to cut back on the crazy strength training she must have been doing because she won't recover quick enough. I remember seeing a video of her rolling with Tito where he gets her in a triangle and she lifts him way off the ground about to go all Rampage on him before she's stopped.

I think you're right about the roids if she dropped to 135. But if she stays at 145 she can maintain the muscle she just wont get any bigger. I watched her early rights. She was smaller but had the same large man-like frame and batshit crazy in the ring. She just had no technique and had no idea how to throw a punch. Now a days i bet she could beat men in the ufc no doubt. Rousey would be lost if she couldnt get the throw against a man, but cyborg could actually get a decision.

There's no denying how strong Cyborg is, but the amount of leeway she has against Rousey is none. If she makes one mistake, she'll get taken down. Rousey's takedowns straight to mount are vicious, and from there, the armbar is inevitable. I really don't see how she can avoid grappling with Rousey, where she'll get slaughtered.
