i just recently watched tape and got educated. first i didnt know. I placed a couple of units on voelker. I think its worth a play when the dog is the all around better fighter and have a clear path to victory.

I don't think that Voelker is the better fighter. Bowling has a bigger upside and a bigger future in the sport. Like a lot of guys who have early success he doesn't seem to handle adversity very well. When Voelker tagged him strong and got on top he seemed lost.

This fight will determine whether he has the ability to make adjustments and get that fight out of his head. I think Bowling will pull it off, but its a no bet for me at the current line.

Its not a lock at all, i just wanted to play out of boredom. Its a fight that you shouldnt bet on really, but from what i saw i think voelker have better hands and good enough takedown defense to keep it standing and punish bowler. But bowler is relentless and may steal rounds and win by grinding without a doubt.

Voelker lost the first fight pretty handily. He was on his way to winning that last round, but he was losing the fight.

I don't remember this. I remember Voelker winning the first fight which is why I bet him in the second fight at that ridiculous price. I'll have to watch it again though. No denying Voelker won the second fight so at +odds I'm going to play him again. Sort of reminds me of Edgar-Penn.

I just rewatched it yesterday. I think it would be tough to call it a bad decision. I had Voelker in the second fight as well. Every outlet scored it for Bowling I believe.

this gets out of the first round and bowling`s in trouble...i remember thinking bowling was pretty lucky that the first fight ended when it did....against voelker he always starts fast and then peters out...


be curious to see what happens if we get out of the first round....

I'm in on Voelker at +175. Bowling looks sharp early on, but he fights at a very fast pace... wasting energy on an early finish. The last fight between them was no fluke and I can easily see it going down the same way again. Worth the price.

I really think we'll be fine with MacDonald. I don't think Pyle's win over Hathaway is that impressive. I thought Hathaway was extremely overrated and has no TDD. A win over Almeida doesn't do much for me either. People forget that Pyle got wrecked by Ellenberger and subbed by Larson before that. I think MacDonald might even get a finish here.
