#73Rockhold is good , I was hoping Bradley could get takedowns but seems like he was to overwhelmed in there .
Sat 2/27 9:00PM
Light Flyweight 12 rounds - Coliseo Olimpico de la UG - Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico - PPV
Omar Nino Romero vs Rodel Mayol
My pick is Rodel Mayol to win
Odds : - 130
Where : 5dimes
$390 to win $300
This could be a tricky fight , I wish they had some weird props here like fight ending in a no contest or either boxer to have a point deducted .
Sat 2/27 9:00PM
Super Bantamweight 12 rounds - Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez - Bayamon, Puerto Rico - PPV Marvin Sonsona vs Wilfredo Vazquez Jr
My pick is Fight won't go distance
Odds : - 190
Where : 5dimes
$475 to win $250
At opening odds of + 180 I think Sonsona was a solid bet , at + 130 I rather pass on the side in this one .
Either way somebody is going to get stopped here I think , there is a good chance Vasquez Jr gets exposed by the 19 year old visitor but I could also see Vasquez stopping him . It's a big task for Sonsona stepping up 2 weight classes to face the son of former great on his own soil , plus he has shown questionable cardio as the fight went on in the past . This could go either way but at some point I see one of them being stopped .
Sat 2/27 10:00PM
Welterweight 10 rounds - Ballys Park Place Hotel Casino - Atlantic City, New Jersey - Fox Sports EspanolMike Jones vs Henry Bruseles
My pick is UNDER 7.5 ROUNDS
Odds : - 185
Where : 5dimes
$555 to win $300
Bruseles had 1 fight in the last 2 years and it was a year ago . Mike Jones has been looking for an opportunity to show his skills on TV for a while and this is a big chance for him . Bruseles's record is full with ''nobody'' opponents , I am still shocked Floyd fought this guy . But it wasn't really a fight , Floyd was mocking him whole fight before he finally decided to take him out .
Anything but an impressive win for Jones wont guarantee him more TV time . Jones has massive height and reach advantage , plus he is the more skilled boxer . If Bruseles doesn't go down I can see his corner stopping the fight like they did vs Floyd . Not sure if there is any fight left in this guy with a schedule like that , just 1 fight in 2 years he might be at the end of the road .Comment -

Super Featherweight 12 rounds - Pechanga Resort & Casino, Temecula, California - ESPN2
Martin Honorio vs Wilton Hilario
My pick is OVER 9.5 rounds
Odds : + 105
Where : 5dimes
$300 to win $315
Not super confident about this one , actually I think Hilario might have a chance in this one as + 325 dog .
Honorio has 43.75 % stoppage wins record yet he is favored not to just win the fight but win inside the distance at - 120 on 5dimes . He hasn't stopped anybody who is worth anything recently , his last 9 wins + 1 draw . One stoppage over a guy with 31 wins - 35 losses - 5 draws record in the 5th round and another one against a guy with 7 losses ( 4 by stoppage ) , who actually lasted 5 rounds with Honorio but just 2 rounds with John Molina who then got decisioned by Honorio .
Dominican vs mexican boxer obviously can quickly turn into a slugfest with one of them going down but from what I hear Hilairio prefers to box smart , according to boxrec he has 73 reach vs 67 Honorio so hopefully if he is going to lose he can atleast last 10 rounds keeping Honorio away from him .
Looks like he is a ballsy guy , hopefully he also fights the same way in the ring as he talks outside of it .Comment -

#79Spot on , this guy was all balls . Knocked down twice in the 6th round but made it to a decision , many would have mailed it in after the 2nd knockdown. No jab whatsoever but he came to fight , unlike lets say Sonsona vs Vasquez Jr .Originally posted by TheIceman

Wojciech Bartnik vs Rene Huebner
My pick is Wojciech Bartnik to win
Odds : 1.60
Where : sportingbet.com
$500 to win $300
Opened at 1.83 but still worth the bite I believe .
http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...1995&cat=boxer
http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...2657&cat=boxer
What speaks for Bartnik :
Location : he is from Poland , they are boxing in Poland .
Records : 23-4-1 vs 25-14-2 , no Huebner didn't have the tougher opponents looking over his boxrec stats .
Bartnik has solid amateur background , his last loss was almost 4 years ago to Albert Sosnowski who was 22 lbs heavier in the HW bout , since that loss Bartnik dropped to Cruiserweight and hasn't lost once . He is naturally heavier man than his opponent today.
Huebner's record when boxing outside of his homeland Germany is 7 losses and 1 win ( over this guy http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...4367&cat=boxer , 3 wins - 27 losses - 1 draw )
Bartnik has never been knocked out , even as a HW when he was facing people 20+ lbs heavier than him . Huebner on the other hand has been stopped 3 times .
Huebner has a journeyman record , beating bums in Germany than going going abroad and losing to pretty much everybody but a guy with 3-27 record .
I have found Bartnik's interview from last week and me this looks like a clear setup . Even if somehow the visiting journeyman manages to keep it close I don't see him getting the benefit of the doubt in Poland against the local boxer .Comment -

Juan Urango vs Devon Alexander
My pick is Devon Alexander to win
Odds : - 300
Where : boylesports
$1350 to win $450
Adding insurance on this one
I give Urango a chance of a late stoppage if he can wear out Alexander in the first 9 rounds , which is about the only real chance I see him have . Alexander has never been in the fight with a relentless boxer like Urango and he might not have the stamina to move away for the whole 12 rounds . So far insurance bets have been great back up and odds are high enough not to get greedy , rather safe than sorry .Urango wins in round 10-12 +1720
$78.49 to win $1,350.00 at 5dimes
Mariana Juarez vs Paulina Cardona
No clue , Mariana Juarez - 2000 and bookies have under price at just u8½ +100 which is fairly low for a female fight so there might be a stoppage win for the heavy favorite .
Saul Alvarez vs Brian Camechis
Alvarez is - 4500 , over/under at just 4.5 rounds , lowest total line I have seen in monthes . Not going to play with fire here after Porter fight where I've taken under 5.5 , no bet .
Leonardo Zappavigna vs Fernando Angulo
No bet
Alexis Camacho vs Shamone Alvarez
No bet
Vic Darchinyan vs Rodrigo Guerrero
Vic will win but I am not sure if it will be over or under 6.5 rounds . Really depends how Guerrero decides to box with him , if he opens up early and tries to brawl it will be a very short night .Comment -

WEC 47 - Featherweight - Nationwide Arena, Columbus, Ohio
Chad Mendes vs Erik Koch
My pick is Chad Mendes to win
Odds : 1.51
Where : expekt
$1000 to win $510

Ricardo Lamas vs Bendy Casimir
No bet
Ricardo Lamas win by decision otherwise he might get caught in some submission like a kneebar and he has to watch out for Casimir's guillotine .
Fredson Paixao vs Courtney Buck
No bet
Fredson Paixio win but there is a lot of pressure on Buck , he recently lost his job and I am not going to bet against a fighter in a situation like this . Most likely he will get taken down and submitted but I rather skip .
Leonard Garcia vs George Roop
No bet
Leonard Garcia by either stoppage in round 1 or decision , anyway I am not going to bet a cent on Garcia at those odds considering his style and questionable gas tank .
Danny Castillo vs Anthony Pettis
No bet
No lean , few good cappers on Pettis and I think he is the more well rounded fighter but like one person has stated this could go to a decision and Castillo wins on few takedowns alone .
Scott Jorgensen vs Chad George
No bet
Jorgensen by whatever but - 500 is too rich .
Karen Darabedyan vs Bart Palaszewski
No bet
- 155 was great opening line , - 250 not so much at the moment .
Karen by a hard fought but fair decision , tho I didn't like the fact that he threw so few punches in his WEC debut . He said it was because he suffered a cut a week before the fight and he didn't want it to open up so he fought more conservative than he would otherwise .
Deividas Taurosevicius vs Lc Davis
No bet
Stay away from this one and just bet on red or black , you won't have to wait 15+ minutes just to find out your guy lost a split decision .
Javier Vazquez vs Jens Pulver
No bet
At - 110 opening line Vasquez was an amazing offer but the actual - 200 line doesn't hold too much value , here I would even start considering placing a small wager on Pulver .
Brian Bowles vs Dominick Cruz
No bet
Everybody and their grandmother on Bowles , I like Cruz if he doesn't get finished or takes a big beating in the first 10 minutes . Will skip this one but a lot of underdogs have cashed in WEC main events recently because the fighters are so evenly matched and a small detail can decide the outcome . Bowles is getting too much respect for one punch against Torres when he was on his bike running away from Torres's strikes and Cruz is not getting enough of it for his skills .Comment -

#83The way I see it Koch will struggle to work off his back , considering usually he is the one to take people down . Mendes is the best college wrestler in the WEC I believe and he has solid grappling knowledge , plus I like his training camp and people he trains with , he should be ready for the big stage . Faber will be in his corner , obviously he cant jump into the cage and fight for him tho. If Koch has the edge in stand up I think Mendes wont struggle to take him down , a lot of hype around this guy .Comment -

#85That's what I've thought but from what I see way more people bet on Bowles than Torres , probably because of the better odds or maybe they've lost the faith in Torres after 1 loss . I think he will make a statement today to be honest , Benavidez is going to get picked apart .Originally posted by RobbReporti was thinking everyone would be on Miguel. #87Devon Alexander win + 3.72 units
Pretty much how I saw this one going , Urango won 1 round out of 8 before getting dropped twice and the referee decided to stop the fight . Urango seemed like he wasn't totally out but it was going to be a matter of time with around 90 seconds left in the round . very impressive performance against a veteran who presses the action .
Gary Sykes win and over 9.5 rounds win + 4 units and + 2 units
Very thin one , UD for Sykes but by just few points . Could have gone either way tho over was never in any danger .
Hilario vs Honorio over 9.5 rounds win + 3.15 units
Hilario wasn't who I've thought he was going to be tho just like assumed this guy has balls . Dropped twice in the 6th round but got up and kept coming forward with his limited skill level .
Wojciech Bartnik win + 3 units
No TV coverage for this one but 2 judges gave all 10 rounds to Bartnik .
Chad Mendes win + 5.1 units
Pretty much like I've thought it would go , Koch couldn't stop the takedowns or shake Mendes off him on the floor .
WIN + 2.87 units
Dominant win for Vic but not super impressive , props to his opponent tho this wasn't a wise decision to go the whole distance and take a beating like that at such a young age .
LOSS - 8 units
That one was a bad call right there . Torres looked scared and fought that way , didn't see his impressive ground game off his back either . Too bad Bonnar replaced Frank Mir for the event yesterday , Mir would kill himself seeing his boy take a beating like that .
WIN + 4.24 units
No coverage for Sengoku event .
Leonard Santos won a quick one by submission
Gono has won by decision
Nakao won by stoppage
Sandro has won in 9 seconds by 2 punches

Nagy Aguilera vs Samuel Peter
My pick is Samuel Peter to win
Odds : 1.33
Where : boylesports
$910 to win $300
Peter has only lost to top people : both Klitschkos and Chambers , Aguilera has lost to two nobodys and got knocked out in 18 seconds at the Police Athletic League Nationals .
People speak about Peter's cardio but Aguilera himself has never been past 8th round unlike Peter who went 10 rounds x 4 times and 12 rounds x 4 times . When both men tire out I will take Peter over someone like Aguilera any day , one of those wild hooks will connect and it will be lights out . That being said I don't see it lasting more than 6 rounds . Unless I am really off here and Aguilera turned into some worldclass boxer since his struggle against journeymen even semi-interested Peter should have his way with him . A win over ghost of Oleg Maskaev is the same as no fight to me , put anybody else with somewhat decent power in there with Maskaev instead of Aguilera and they would have done the same .Comment -

#97Kubrat Pulev -1500 vs Danny Batchelder + 700
Awesome 800 points odds difference ...
No bet , Batchelder has been in there with some big names but he is brought in to lose and he very likely will but that's what the odds suggest as well .
Alexander Povetkin - 4500 vs Javier Mora +1500
Getting better and better , 3000 points difference ...
Was having a very close look at under 5.5 rounds but will have to pass here after listening to some interviews . This is a fight where they have chosen a somewhat durable boxer to try new things on him Povetkin has learned with Teddy Atlas in the last few monthes . If not for those circumstances I would have no doubt Povetkin could take Mora out in less than 6 rounds . He will stop Mora at some point just not sure if it will be in 1 round or 6 and a half rounds .
Yoan Pablo Hernandez -1300 vs Cesar David Crenz + 850
Lean under 9.5 rounds - 170 but will stay away . Couldn't find any footage of Crenz , especially his fight with Kraj that I would really like to see . Hernandez himself has a questionable chin so I wouldn't be surprised if Crenz landed a homerun punch to his head . Very interesting fact that they have had a same opponent : Hector Alfredo Avila who knocked out Crenz in 2005 in the 2nd round but in 2009 Crenz has TKO'ed him in the 1st round . Yoan Pablo met this opponent in 2007 in a 8 round bout , winning a close decision .
With Hernandez chin in question and Crenz having some stoppage wins on his record I wouldn't be surprised if Hernandez was going to box a safety first style which could lead to some varience on the over/under part .
No bet
Marco Huck -3000 vs Adam Richards + 1500
There has been a lot of trash talking between those two in the last few days . Richards did tell that he is either going to knock out Huck or get knocked out trying. I am sure Richards will be game in the first few rounds but spending a lot of energy trying to boss around Marco Huck who will stay safe behind his defense . Huck is by far the more experienced fighter on a big stage having fought very tough opponents recently and he knows what it takes to go into the later rounds if needed . Richards on the other hand has shown stamina problems in several fights , he claims that he is fully aware of it and that he has been working on his cardio and conditioning but I don't think it's so easily to fix considering Richards will be coming forward early and spending a lot of energy . At some point when Richards will get slower Huck will start landing heavy punches and force the referee or Richards's corner to stop the fight .

Samuel Peter WIN + 3 units
2nd round TKO
Alexander Povetkin + Marco Huck both by KO , TKO or DQ WIN + 5 units

Manny Pacquiao to win by decision WIN + 7.82 units
Only way Pacquiao wouldn't win this by decision was Clottey's corner stopping it because he was losing rounds but not taking any damage . Clottey threw just a few every round but still probably landed more clean than Pacquiao . Speed and movement too much for Clottey .
Michael Medina PUSH
