Theory/Angle question

It's all speculative but there may be something to that. Another one I think may apply is teams on the road visiting nice party cities may not fair so well on a Sat. or Sunday game. It only takes 2-3 guys to go out on a pu**y hunt and having some drinks to fukk up the next day for their team. Like I said these theories are all speculation and unless you have inside info or a bartender and see some of these clowns roll in there is no way to truly know for sure.

Agreed but I think that is way harder to cap ... i.e. who and when, while my angle is more defenitive just don't have the stats.

The way I see it. You go on the road and bang broads you could not care less about. So not much effort put into sex. Then you get home to your girl, and you have to make sure you F her right. Leading to tiredness in that first game back from road trip.

Flip side to that Houli is on the road banging the ho's they will give you the "extra" treatment and let you do things the wife won't go for. Therefore prolonging the encounter... and you may be doing 2-3 at once which only adds to the extra labor lol. Add the booze and coke into the equation you probably stay away from at home when you have to report to the wife and you may be a little extra tired and hung-over on the road. We sound like a bunch of dipsh*ts but may be onto something here

I believe there is something to being on the road and partying though. If the secret service all got shitfaced and got hookers the night before Obama was having a speech, it wouldn't surprise me if a team like the Mariners did bc they cant score anyways.

Just stating the obvious and any man who has ever been married or in a relationship for a pro-longed time will tell you the woman won't do things or perform as often when you been together awhile. And the secret service comment... don't know where that came from that's a curveball? Just saying most men are about as faithful as their options. And obviously aside from having big ego's and huge bankrolls (which money grubbing floozies flock to) most athlete's probably have alot more options than "Joe the plumber".

i used to work with a dude who said that there are two types of guys: those who talk about banging broads and bang broads, and those who talk about banging broads and never actually bang any broads. i have no fkn idea what he was talking about, but i'm pretty sure that Dusty Baker is the type of guy who talks about banging broads and never actually bangs any broads.

Be nice to have snitches in cities all over like in the movie Casino though would'nt it? Get a call from a bartender or desk clerk in Chicago tipping you off that about a half dozen of the Red sox came in about 3 in the morning all fukked up with a dozen women and they play at noon that day. Cha-ching!

I have no idea what that guy is talking about either, but I LOVE over-generalizations that start with there being, "Only two types of," something.

Just think if there were only two types of everything. Life would be so simple, decisions easy, and TV would still be in black and white.

Yeah OK, but there are #'s for what I'm proposing. We all want to hypothesize what we/they might be doing on the road but there are real stats out there about the aforementioned theory. Returning home and the honey/kids/comfort whatever creates a
comfort/letdown. #'s youngin's #'s. Maybe going forward. Just think there's a possible angle here.

If there are #'s then what are they? Or are you just assuming? Like I stated at the top it's all just speculative. And when you have 25 man rosters not all 25 guys have the same lives or behave the same ways whether at home or on the road. And if there are #'s for your home theory than mostly likely there are #'s to support the road theory. Being at home probably would lead to a more "comfort factor" in my opinion. Being able to sleep in your own bed at night, being with your family and friends, and have the home crowd cheering you on. And being on the road may lead to a more reckless lifestyle living in hotels, more partying, not having a wife to report to etc. Not trying to be argumentative just saying this is a tough nut to crack in my opinion.

CappinTerp uses this angle for some of his plays. Might be worth going into his thread and asking him if he keeps track / has any data.

In my experience, he would say this as an excuse to (a) talk about himself allegedly banging broads, or (b) put down someone we worked with. I blew his mind once by saying "But don't you think that there's a third type: guys who talk about banging broads but who actually bang dudes?" He didn't talk to me for awhile after that.

My theory is their owner is a devout Christian, so most players/staff go to church on Sunday and aren't concentrating on the game. I can't explain the Saturdays except the Rockies really suck this year.

but the Sunday theory was true last year too. If you look through SBR search, someone wrote a thread about it.

Wouldn't it be great if we can utilize SBR this way? I mean, a forum filled with degenerates, we can put them to good use!

1-2 people are assigned to scope out a visiting team in their city, then snitch back at SBR. Brilliant!
