        6.29.12: Cubs Team Total Over 4 [-105]
Cubs open against the Astros this afternoon and get a shot at Bud Norris who is coming off the DL from a sprained knee. As with most of the Astros, Norris has been much worse on the road vs. home this season. The Houston staff's road ERA is 5.98. Norris' road ERA is 7.83. So even though he shut the Cubs out for 7 IP @ home this season, it should be different @ Wrigley. In six of his seven road starts, the opposition has scored at least four. In Houston's last road trip, they gave up four runs or more in seven of nine. In all, they have given up at least four runs in 27 of their 34 road games. The Cubs have scored at least four in eight of their last 12 @ home. Norris does have good #s against the Cubs, but the career ABs against the current Cubs lineup is not a big sample size.

Good luck ep. Rolled with Angels over 5 tonight. Hot bats going against depleted blue jays pitching, you may not be familiar with villaneuva, but me being from toronto...trust me he sucks. Was a starter last season and gave up handfuls of runs every outting, feel pretty confident angels at least get to 5 for a push at worst. Hope you hit that early one bro.

I like both of these. Also White Sox o5 vs Yankees. Books seem to be expecting a lot of runs and I think Warren is in for a tough debut.

            Best of luck.

              6.29.12: Angels Team Total Over 4.5 [-125]
I like the angle spelled out above. Hot offense continues against Villanueva who has not been stretched out to be a starter yet, so quite possible LA gets some shots at the Toronto pen which has been giving up runs all year. Angels now have five or better in seven of eight and Toronto has given up at least five runs in nine of their last ten.

And to correct the Angels Total is @ 5 (-110) not 4.5.

Double push today. Better than a double loss! Have to homework up more for tomorrow, but the Cubs may again be a try on the over if they are four runs or less. Happ is like every other Astros pitcher, terrible on the road. Nats also may be a good potential play against Minor who has been horrid for most of the year. Maybe Padres, even though it's hard to trust them - Friedrich has been awful @ Coors Field. Hoping to bang out some winners to start the weekend.

                        6.30.12: Angels Team Total Over 5 [-125]
Going to ride with LA until they cool off. Henderson Alvarez for Toronto. Now he did shut out LA back in early May on the road, but since he has allowed four runs or more in seven of nine starts. He has actually had a rougher go of it at home with a 4.83 ERA. Alvarez has surrendered at least four in four straight at home. LA has now scored five or better in eight of their last nine, while Toronto continues to give it up - five or more yielded in six straight and 11 of their last 12 overall. Alvarez also left his last start due to elbow soreness, so if he is effected any - the Halos get to pound that bullpen that has struggled along with the starters over their last ten with a 5.53 ERA.

                          6.30.12: Nationals Team Total Over 4.5 [+100]
Nationals are keyed in right now offensively with four straight games of five runs or better, including the three double digit explosions in Colorado. Mike Minor goes for ATL. Minor has given up four runs or more in nine of 14 starts. Nine times out of 14, the opposition has scored at least five runs by game's end. Minor is struggling to go much more than five most starts, which means the Nats should have a shot to pound away late at the ATL pen which has a 4.66 ERA @ home this season. Washington is hitting .255 against lefties on the road and has had several games on this road trip where they have gone against lefty starters with success.

No luck for the Halos today. Any time they have mounted some chances, double plays or something to erase them quickly. Boo.

I know this isn't technically a team total, but I could not decipher which team might explode - but one likely puts up a crooked number and Coors has been playing like the Coors of old.

                              6.30.12: Padres-Rockies Over 11.5 [-115]
All four of Friedrich's home starts have found a way to 13 runs or more, be it by Friedrich getting lit up or a combo of him + the bullpen getting beat down. Volquez has been worse on the road with a 4.48 ERA, but has had some success at Coors. Still, the Rockies are averaging 1.5 runs more at home over their already lofty season average of 5.25 runs. Rockies at home have seen four straight with 12 or more and six of their last ten @ Coors overall.

                                        7.1.12: Indians Team Total Over 4.5 [-110]
Tribe have been in a good hitting groove over the last few games, especially in Baltimore where they have 29 runs in the 1st three games of this series. Matusz and his 5.21 home ERA go for the O's today. He has given up at least four runs in four of his last six starts. Matusz has has had trouble going deep in games over the last month, so the bullpen likely will come into play. The O's pen has been steady overall, but has an ERA of 5.87 in its last five games. Cleveland is putting up over five runs per road game and they have already beaten up a couple lefty starters in this series.

                                            7.2.12: Yankees Team Total Over 4 (+100)
Yankees get Moore and the Rays. Moore has been pretty solid, but comes in off a poor outing against KC. In spite of his good pitching at times, the Rays find ways to give up runs after he leaves if Moore hasn't allowed the damage. Eight of his last ten starts have seen the opposition score at least four. The Rays have allowed 4+ in five of their last six and six of nine this season to NY. NYY have scored four or more in seven of their last ten.

Double plays killing this. Three times the had 1st & 2nd with one out. Three times = DP. Sucks the other one I looked @ was KC, but I have Romero in my fantasy league so I did not want to root for runs ... so instead of him sucking and winning money, he sucks and I look likely to lose money. FU Romero.

The Fish are in pretty solid offensive form with seven of their last ten seeing them score at least a five spot. Marco Estrada goes for Milwaukee. He's made seven starts now and five of them have seen the opposition score at least five by game's end. He has given up at least three runs in four of those starts and has only gone more than 6 IP once. That means some goof time against a soft bullpen. They have now scored at least five in seven of their last eleven on the road.

Cancel the Marlins play. Their lineup looks a bit candy ass to me today without several regulars.

Pirates get a shot at Lucas Harrell. Harrell like all of the other Astros' starters has a big time difference in home vs. away starts. Harrell's road ERA is 6.38. In nine road starts, the opposition has only failed to hit at least five runs twice. Harrell was brilliant at home against San Diego and Cleveland his last two starts, but has allowed 19 ERs in his last three road starts. Pittsburgh has scored at least four in 10 of their last 12 overall, including an 11 run explosion in Game 1 yesterday. Pittsburgh has 52 runs in their last six games.
