      7.28.12: Nationals Team Total Over 4 [-125]
Nats get a shot @ Randy Wolf. No matter how many runs he has given up, Wolf's starts have seen the opposition put up at least four in 17 of 20 overall. That means, plenty of bullpen time to help the cause with the Brewers pen still very giving with a 4.66 ERA overall and 5.62 at home. The shutout of Washington yesterday was the first time in four games that Milwaukee had not given up at least seven runs. Overall, they have given up at least four in five of their last seven. Washington has scored at least five in eight of their last ten. Opponents have scored at least five in four of Wolf's last six home starts.

        7.29.12: Mariners Team Total Over 3.5 [-115]
Seattle has managed to scrape home at least four runs in all three games of the series against KC so far and has really had their number this season. In seven meetings, they have tallied at least four runs in all seven games. Will Smith goes for KC. Although he comes in off a stellar outing @ LA last time, he has given up at least four runs in three of his five starts. This will be his second go around against the M's, allowing four runs in 6.1 IP against them @ home earlier in the month. KC has given up at least four runs in six of their last seven overall.

White Sox Team Total Over 4.5 [-130]
Still fading Feldman. He limited Boston last start which came on a whim after Oswalt reported back stiffness. This time, he's on a normal turn and faces Chicago which got to him for four runs in a start earlier this season. In all, Feldman has now made 11 starts with the opposition scoring at least five in seven of those - including three of the last four @ home. White Sox have 14 runs in the 1st two games of this series and have scored at least five runs in five straight.

Seattle has found a decent offensive groove at home on their current home stand. They have scored at least four runs in in five of their last six overall. They get Ricky Romero who continues to disappoint. Romero totes a 5.97 ERA and has seen the opposition score at least four in nine of his eleven road starts. Romero has been crushed for 14 earned runs over his last 7.1 IP. Toronto starters are carrying a 5.13 road ERA this season.

Nick Blackburn returns. Chicago has walloped him twice already with Blackburn allowing 14 ER over 9.1 IP in two starts against Chicago this season. Overall, ten of his 15 starts have seen the opposition score at least five runs. That goes for six of seven @ Target Field. They have also scored at least six against Minnesota in seven of the last nine meetings. That includes yesterday's game. The Twins have given up at least five in seven of their last ten.

Yeah Yeah. Thanks for the Laffey correction. Cross referencing the last series. Lack of sleep for me. White Sox waited too long to get going. Struck for two in the 9th, but likely ending with 4 unless the Twins tie it and send it to extras which seems unlikely.

Seattle just cashed in the 2nd.

Seven of Houston's last eight road games have seen the home side score at least five times.

Nats come off being shut out by the Phils. They get Vance Worley. In 13 of his 16 starts this season, the opposition has scored at least four. Washington bashed him for five runs on 11 hits earlier in the season. Washington has scored four runs or better in 12 of 15 overall. As usual, the quicker they get Worley out the better as the bullpen sports a 4.50 ERA. 4.74 on the road.

Hot offense with Cincy scoring five or more in seven of their last nine. They get the Padres again and Ross Ohlendorf. On the surface, his #s look decent but have been padded by PETCO where his ERA is 3.07 compared to 6.43 on the road. SD has now given up five or more in four straight. The Reds are piecing it together again today with Phillips sideline and Votto still out. It doesn't seem to phase them.
