You can find stats for umps at BaseballProspectus.com

It is very tough without knowing the MLB umpires personally or having an insider in the MLB executive office to know about which umpires are going to be working a series before the first game of said series. You can determine who will be behind the plate for the second-third-fourth games of a series, however. The rotation will be Home-to-Third-to-Second-to-First-to-Home, if that makes sense. In other words...

Game 1 of the FLA-HOU series on Monday lined up like this: Home - Tim McClelland, First Base - Bob Davidson, Second Base - Bill Welke, Third Base - Fieldin Culbreth

Game 2 of that series last night worked this way: Home - Bob Davidson, First Base - Bill Welke, Second Base - Fieldin Culbreth, Third Base - Tim McClelland

If and when you have a 6-ump crew (All-Star and Playoffs), the rotation is Home-RF Line-LF Line-3B-2B-1B-Home.

    Hope that helps.
