On3, I would exclude KC as an official 5/2 play today, Covers puts their line last night at -143, and the requirement is -145. I myself will probably still play it for a lower amount but it shouldn't count towards the system as it just barely falls outside parameters. The only 5/2 play today is Boston.

So your grading 5/2 plays by the line next to the game in the scoreboard section, not 5Dimes correct?

I determine plays based on Covers, not 5dimes like On3. You can check if plays qualify from either the mlb scoreboard section or by looking at the covers.com/pageLoader/pageLoader.aspx?page=/data/mlb/teams/pastresults/2012/team2966.html tab on the specific team's page.

Can somebody explain the reason for the money line at -175 other than the possibility of no sweep? Lester home team record 3-8 6.29 era 1.63 whip L7 2-5 5.06 era......... Alvarez away team record 3-5 3.73 era 1.40 whip L7 2-5 5.23 era.

30 unit drop today if following all 3 systems. At least 20 depending on the odds you took. Not the end of the world though we can get a string of A bets to clear some of this up. Should still be around even with the regular system overall so dont trip

The results of a Non-Backtestable system are starting to show their effects in year three. This year could wipe out all profits from last two seasons, and still no one knows how this system even did before that any way. For all we know, this could be the trend for the system, and the last two seasons were the fluke years. I sure hope not, but there are way too many losses at this point for a system that supposedly had only six last season. When you are playing games at high -money lines, the series usually should be in your favor, and losses need to be minimal for system to survive. I don't know what is going on, however, this is anything but...

Because it is at testing year still and odds makers are geniuses robbing the public blind what I do is play multiple systems with my labby lines and do not really get in trouble. Basically though there are 3 systems running here instead of betting 20 units on boston i only had 3 units on them trying to cross off 2 #s on my labby line. People get carried away trying to maximize their profits with over lapping systems on the same team. Either have a separate 100 unit bankroll for each system or if the systems over lap on the same team only make them have 1 bet. Very simple and keeps bankroll in check.

I am not saying that just cause of the two C bets losses today as many of you will say now your saying this after the fact.

Also I do not think anyone should worry if you are following all 3 systems you are still in the black. However, it becomes a big roller coaster ride on days like today. Either you enjoy the roller coaster ride for what its worth or choose a more conservative approach. Gotta know what you are doing when you join the system so you dont have to worry about banging your head on the wall later.

Trying my hardest to put together a +money baseball system. I have run 13 different extensive backtests since May, and keep getting to that one year that it crumbles, then have to make adjustments and start over again. I am trying to find a system that performed as well as MLB Plu$$ did without that 2006 season, but the problem with run line betting is the backtesting is extremely tedious to get dead accurate results. I found several that kicked ass in 2011 and 2010, but after testing further, found they were busts, and I was glad I continued on and didn't jump the gun. I think I broke my own personal record for time spent on a single backtest, and now I'm determined to stay on it til I get it.
