That is going to be a tough one to bet on...both pitchers last time out gave up 6 runs a piece by the 7th.

So are you saying that because the teams went over last time against these pitchers, the same will happen tonight? You do understand that is severely flawed thinking, right?

No...the wind is projected to more cross field than directly out to right and busch is a pretty expansive park. Wind cannot really be deemed significant until it reaches at least 12 mph and tonight it is projected around 8 mph. That does not concern me. GL.

Upscope you still haven't answered where are you getting this Grienke has a speech impediment thing from? Also, lots of ballplayers do not speak english well or at all and they seem to be fine. Even if Grienke did have an impediment I do not think it should factor into how one caps a game. Just my opinion.

Its a completely irrelevant factor.

Like you said there are all sorts of nationalities and languages in the game, and it is not as if Grienke is unable to speak.

If it was a factor the brewers have dealt with it all season and I hardly imagine they would allow it to be a problem at this stage.

That wasn't me who originally said he had a speech impediment. I just agreed that it could cause problems w/ communication if true. To be honest w/ you I've never heard of him having a speech impediment either...lol
And I've already agreed that it is too minor to be capping games over as well.

Really? Grienke hasn't been good on the road this year, especially in a hostile environment like St. Louis. He has a speech impediment, and a social anxiety issue - I'm pretty sure he'll have a stroke before the 5th.

Just sayin... I was in STL all day to day and was rather windy... I know their forecast shows wind from 12 to 19 mph around the start and duration of most of the game... not sure that means anything I like the under as well

For what it's worth. Sports options has the following:

"Wind out to right 12-17, Gusty. Game temp 63, RH 35%"

Both of these pitchers have a fly ball rate of less than 30%. I'm not convinced the wind is going to be a HUGE factor.

A night of futility, errors in baseball missed FG's and questionable strategy in football.

To top it off I left the Dominican League game with the home team losing in the top of the 9th 9-2.......They came back and won 10-9 and I missed the excitement rushing home to watch Hawii F me over. Such is life. Let's get'em today LTA

Incredibly, Greinke didn't strike out a single batter in 5.2 IP. Only the second time in 200 career starts that Greinke failed to K a batter. Huh.
