well its true if you have a limited bankroll, but the realism in sports betting is that you always make the bet if you have an advantage. That is why bankroll management is so important (generally 1% of your roll on any one bet, 5% - 10% in a day). If you are betting beyond your roll, you will miss the potentially profitable bets do to your money being tied up elsewhere. So ten or even twenty bets in a day is not unusual for pros
