On the Sports System Specialists - they're using the 2nd and 3rd games of a series as their A and B bets; the system looks for a team that is statistically favored and lost the first game of a series, and then, if it passes the filters, game 2 qualifies as an [A] bet. Depending on the lines set by the books the player bets on the money line (as with TEX and ATL yesterday) or the plus run line (FLA yesterday). Obviously I don't know how the filters work, but I've tried using this principle last year and I ended the season cycle with a small profit. Overall I think it looks really good, if one is not afraid of the high juice - you're always playing heavy favorites or the plus run line and using the labby makes no sense - it might be profitable. It would be great to have those picks in this thread as well!

Four-game or three-game series, it's still the same principle - betting on the statistically favored team to claw out at least one from the series before it's over; whether it's the 2nd and 3rd game or the 3rd and 4th. Again, let me point this out - statistically favored team, not the team favored by the books. On May 4th we had the third game in the LAA@BOS series in which the Red Sox line was favored in each of the games, but the Angels had a better win/loss ratio and were higher in the RPI standings all the way throughout the duration of the series. That's why the SSS [A] bet on the Angels on that day was +1,5.

The May 13th Red Sox bet is a very nice example that could prove my guess on the system basics wrong; if it's true - as I don't remember that bet, but I might have missed it, I don't have complete info on this year's SSS bets - the case gets really interesting as it would give a whole new dimension on those system bets. Nice catch!

My bad on the comment. Now I understand what you were saying. Too may chase systems with 4 games. Their system seems like a good team won't get swept by a bad team. Playing high juice for two games. Again my apologies for not understanding the question or comment.
