A day like today is exactly why I hate baseball in late August/September. The damn money lines are high as hell and I'm pretty much forced into taking the run line which is something I rarely do during the 1st half of the season.

Today was a blood bath day for many. The Phillies and Braves lost outright and the Fish win by one. Playing the ML's today would have been a killer. Going to have to play smarter from here on out.

I may very well decrease my bet sizes but play more games each day. Once again I've been picking the right games but playing the wrong games for the most part.
A good night's sleep and back to the drawing board.

I have been paper betting the last few days to get back in the swings of things and I am lucky as hell. Out of 25 "possibilities" I would have gone 9-16!!!

How has everyone been doing? I didnt go through all the old threads just yesterdays... Seems like a lot of weird shit is going on. This is the time the better teams should be really laying it on but its not happening.

I really like the Marlins Cash, I would split up the ML and RL though like MEX does. I HATE losing a RL but the team still winning... Brew Crew is fading fast and I will not play them at such a high price. LOVE Det with Jackson at + money and he has decent numbers vs the Angels. Also like Toronto and St Louis... Other ones are no plays for me... GL! I think I might dive back in today, not positive though

These last few days have been indescribable ... I can't believe Phillies lost that game. Of course, all signs pointed Philly. Both Phillies and Cards had insane RLM over night. Phillies line went from -180 to -175 with >70% of the public on them. Still, I couldn't see the Pirates winning that game. Ever. Yet it happened. I have been absolutely screwed this week. Hammered the Angels both opening games last series, they lost the first two, so I held off the third -- they won. Hammered the Braves first two games, they lost the first two, so I held off the third -- they won tonight (had them in a 2-team parlay, the other game lost of course). Brewers got killed first two games so I hammered the third -- they lost. Talk about being on the wrong side of things.

Heavy on the Dodgers tomorrow. Reds are hot but Dodgers are 7-0 coming off a road win in the next game of a road series and all Dodgers have sickening numbers vs. Bailey. But of course they will probably lose.

If I can survive this month I'm just goin' back to straight systems for September. Got some nice ones ready!
