No action for me today. I'm not in the right from of mind today (going to a wake tonight) and there's a few things a like but nothing I'm willing to wager on today. I going to have to start spot picking until the end of the season. September is a month where people have known to get demolished so I'm going to be real careful from here on out, especially with football season upon us.
The last thing I want to do is take a major hit to my bank roll placing action on games I'm not certain about. Anyway, just for fun I'm going to post what I would have placed action on today if I actually pulled the trigger.

Laying off has been a good idea as of late. I didn't even look at the lines yesterday but have a feeling some people may have taken a mjor hit yesterday.

Was just going to roll with the Rays yesterday but figured Tomko was due to get lit and Feldman would stop sucking at home and actually get a win in Texas Then I started looking harder at the Dodgers and finished it off with a parlay.
Of course Tomko goes on to throw a complete game 5 hit shutout while Feldman falls apart, yet again at home. Can't understand how someone can be so dominant on the road and be so bad at home
Anyway, a team needs to score runs to win and scoring 0 last night is still 0 no matter whose pitching. I'll take +$134 every day of the week. Hope everyone made a few bucks on baseball yesterday.

Feel real good about the card today. Was also leaning on the Stros but Oswalt hasn't been great against the Reds over his last 5 although his career numbers are ridiculous. Also, like the Rangers today if the juice wasn't so high.
Clean sweep today would put me at a new season high.

What do you think about these two plays, I took rays straight up (don't like playing -1.5 ) and c.lee/phillies under 9 -115 I was thinking about playing both and then parlaying them together?Comment -
I like the Rays but can't get a good read on the Philies under. Mock has an ERA of over 7 in his last 3 starts and Lee has been way off. Lee is hopefully do for a good start but it's hard to say for sure. I don't see an edge on this play. Then again I'm one of the last people who should be giving advice on over/unders. Just a brutal day. I pulled the trigger on all 3 thinking this would be an easy day. It's happened before and will happen again. Nieman had a 5 run lead and loses. Sean West had an ERA over 6 on the road with 1 win and out duels Wainwright. The Dodgers own Zach Duke and the guy pitches 7 strong and gives up 2 runs.
