Rangers have a bad habit of making mediocre pitchers look good. That will happen when you got a team full of guys hitting around .200 who strike out a ungodly amount of times while depending on homers for their offense.

They all professional pitchers as well correct? Stands to reason they have all shown the ability to get big league hitters out. Which Perez doing rather easily thus far. Hopefully muts get some runs for you.

And there lies the problem w rangers, bases juiced nobody out and only reason they get one run is cause they were gifted a walk. Nobody bothers to put the ball in play and drive in a runner they all swinging for the fences.

He could pitch another game after this one at the pace he carving up the muts.

Not as simple as saying "2 gas cans = over" , books setting those totals featuring "gas cans" pretty high and in many cases against offenses you simply can't trust to produce big numbers no matter what kind of pitcher they facing. Rangers could have just as easily been the team that got blanked today. Point is when ya need 10 runs you better have some faith both offenses can consistently produce.
