#1157Yep that's my thoughts on it.. Obvi don't go mad with it, maybe tighten up any restrictions you have compared to total runs until you work out kinks, but I could see it being a profitable angle if there's just one poor starter with a taxed BP vs a hot-hitting team or just a generally good offence. Be even better if said team has a poor defence aswell. Hitters ballpark, ump, etc etc. I have kinda been doing this already in a half-arsed way, but I tell ya what, when you put up your relief plays, I'll look over and see if there's value in one TT or the other. Tonight I already have SF TT and Cin TT.Comment -

#1162Okay I lied. I gave this a quick, and I mean, a QUICK look, and the the 2 team totals I see are Cards over 5 and Toro over 4. I did this in 10 minutes so do not recommend playing them, but I will look into more depth tomorrow afternoon. We really need to track this for some time before we play them. If it is a viable angle, I will post them as plays.
As always, Good luckComment -

#1163Kinda on same page though.. I liked the Tor TT O, although for some reason I talked myself out of it.. Bought out the SF TT O, but kept the Cincy, Reds bats are swinging and Bud is meh.. I did take KC TT O earlier aswell.. GLComment -

#1165OFC, just track it for now, see how it goes, see something you like play it, but it might be a fully fledged angle for next season if things go the right way.. We've got 6 weeks to track itComment -

#1166Doubledime, I've been trying to "crack the code" so to speak and predict your reliever plays (with some decent success). I would have thought that Cubs/Rockies would have been a play today, and I would be very thankful if you could give me a small hint why it didn't qualify? I totally understand if you don't want to elaborate.Comment -

#1172Good morning,
Before I post I feel I need to mention this:
The Reliever Plays have been on a pretty good roll lately (8-0 the last 2 days). Speaking from experience, this will not continue at this pace. That is not pessimism, but just a fact of handicapping! I've said it before and I'll say again, I never expected this one angle to produce the results it has. Please use good money management.
Saturday's Reliever Plays:
Mets/SF over 7.5
Cards/Philly over 8.5
Wash/Atl over 7.5
LAD/Reds over 9.5
Cubs/Col over 12
Min/KC over 8.5
Milw/Seat over 8
Back later with the Regular Plays
Good luckComment -

#1173Well put. The recent success has tempted to me to go higher than 2% (which I believe is the suggested amount you mentioned in an earlier post). However, between this and DD's system, the good 'ol bankroll has been growing therefore the same 2% is getting bigger in amount anyway. The beauty of bankroll management is that it is beautiful.Comment -

#1178DD, how are you playing the relievers today? I used to flip flop between picking out certain ones and just playing all but these days I've been doing the latter. I'm tempted to play all but it is a lot of picks today.Comment -

#1182IMHO 1% to 2% on the Reliever Plays and 3% on Regular Plays. Ultimately it's what your comfortable with.Comment -

#1187JJ Mixed indicators. Just missed being an over Reliever Play, trends are mixed, over weather, over ump, slightly under stats, over ballpark but Balt is 24-33 to the under at home. so even that is mixed. Leaning over, but I will not be involved in that game. Good luck whatever you do.Comment -

Is this still true, DD, or have you in fact started playing them? Because I think that's what K-Mang is asking. It's funny because those plays may well have a LOT of tailers in here now (especially w/ the last two days), and the OP does not even bet them!
Anyway, great job in here, Double, keep up the good work!!Comment
