Just signed up for sportrends pro football.Has anyone used this program in foots before.If so should this program be used first week of season or is it best to wiat a week or two.thanks

well TPR went 4-2 (dodgers too high)...nice day again... not so much for the PR system... filtered went 1-4 and overall went 2-5 ... it really sucks right now... but TPR looks like a good one so far...another winning night...

I was thinking the same... PR system is not doing well... it had a pretty good run 2 weeks b4 the allstar break, but right now its just sucks...

so what I would suggest for the TPR is that we play games upto -175

TPR plays: PIT, PHI, FLO, SEA, TOR, LAA, LAD... but dont play it if the line is -175 or worse... so dont play LAD

so I think I will still follow the PR system for me, but wont post anything unless it turns around soon... so starting today I will just post the filtered and unfiltered plays for the TPR here and keep the record... what do you think ?

ok last day I posted the PR system the filtered plays went 3-3 +0.0u... overall it went 4-6 -2.0u.... hell even on a "good" day we are not able to make a profit....

but the TPR had another nice day... I know we could filter out plays on long win streaks too, but I dont.... only filters I use are... no plays on teams under .450, no plays on teams with 2L or more, no play on teams that play against teams with 2W or more (for both filters: if the team is also on a 2W or "L streak in that case it is a play), also no games with a line higher than -175 (different compared to the PR system filter, but I got the feeling it picks a lot more favs in the range between -130 and -175 and since it seems like it hits quiet often, I changed it a bit here)

so overall it went 4-1 +3.0 units (btw the dodgers won too, but line was way too high, PIT were under .450, so no play either, I will keep track for myself how the filtered out plays do)

YTD: 4-1 +3.0 units
I will also only keep the record for the filtered play this time... just keep it simple...

well Pit is an under .450 team... I dont play them... and considering that MIL owned Pit in the past... it looked like the right decision ... today we know better...

TPR today: TOR, SEA, PHI, PIT.... PHI line too high and PIT is an under .450 team and today they face Haren...so I will only play TOR and SEA today (I will also play PHI -1.5, but thats another story)

Pete, I have no problem with the .450 team record but I dont use it. Whatever you want to do is fine.

I actually like the .450 filter... most of the time teams that are under dont really play that well... but how about... only use the .450 filter if the pther team is above .450 if the other team is under .450 than its still play (only exception Nationals, wont play them or lets just say almost wont play them ever)... sound ok with me ?

so that means today we have TOR, SEA and PIT as plays (but personally I wont play PIT, but its a system play bc ARZ is also really bad overall)...

Peter I agree with you 100% as far as playing PIT. Some common sense has to prevail here. Although the line looked tempting, why play against Haren who is one of the best pitchers out there.

Pete at least we did not lose any money. Since before you started tracking the system I was for a good week and a half and it hit something like 32-6. Too bad we were not following it from the beginning. Anyway I believe we have 4 plays today.

, and no play on CWS bc they lost some games in a row now...

so 4 plays maybe only 3...

Called Sam about a week ago from sportrends.He said at one time he was down 25u for the season.He said he started useing moneyline and turned the season around.He is now over 50u up and killing em.Today played 2 that qualified under both system"s.....Phi and nats

Joe lets not get everyone confused here with another system. By the way WAS would not have been a play anyway, you missed CLE and thats how you would have gone 2-0 using the ML system. You are correct that sportrends did start off very poorly and I just noticed their at + 57 units. I would love to know what system their using.

so for the first half week I tracked the TPR plays now and so far we are 9-4 +4.8u (btw I also filtered 10 plays which are 7-3 +0.1 )

today we have plays on:
LAD and TX (no play on WAS its WAS!, no play on CIN 6L streak, but personally I will play them, JM play and they have to win now that they are back home, no play on HOU 2L streak right now and tonight they face the red hot Cubs)

Peter, CIN is on a 6L and more likely to turn around then SD which is on a 2L. There is no reason why you could not have taken CIN. I personally stayed away from this game both shit pitchers.

correct...so we went 2-1 yesterday...forgot sd was 2L too...but since I played it anyway...no harm done...told you to stay away from the dodgers...
