Everybody that's honest goes thru extreme streaks as it's simply a law of nature. The encouraging thing is when all the breaks seem to be going against you over and over, it's almost as if the universe abruptly shifts to establish some form of equilibrium. Point being, you've been hot many times before and I expect your fortunes to change soon in the other direction. It's clear to me you were on the "right" side of that Cincy over and probably the Rockies too. Unbelievable for that to happen really but I expect the randomness to even out with those breaks going in your favor before too long. GL and continued success for the remainder of the season, LR.

Truly was beyond comprehension. That is the definition of a disgusting bad beat. When the BS happens, my consolation comes in knowing I'm going to have a similar situation (opposite outcome) where I'm going to hit a crazy under that has 7 runs after 2 innings, in miraculous fashion. Also, I think it's human nature to forget the miracle wins and really remember the burns.

I think his position is that you should know enough about baseball to know the nicknames if you want to bet the sport.

All the nicknames are available on Wikipedia anyway if people get stuck.
