Atleast it's been a + RL the last two games. It was even yesterday and I got in at +101 today. I see a Tigers win for sure tonight. I just hope it's by 2+ runs. I'm betting 9.35 units today on the D bet chasing the one unit.
Early odds have the Philles at the top ML fav tomorrow. Looks like a +110 to +120 RL at the moment.

Yes, with Cliff Lee on the mound, getting somewhere around +125 or +130.

I have been going with SBR opening lines. Phillies were -211 and Cards -206.
With SBR lines the play is the Jays on Sunday, opened at -280.

Some interesting facts. During entire mo. of Aug. you had to lay odds on the run line....in one case -155 (yikes). In the month of May only 9 plays were at (-) money with the largest lay being -115 twice. Aug. had NO chases longer than 2 games.

Inherent with chases, is the fact you'll need to lay a big number to get back previous losses. The largest amount needed was for the single 6 game chase in July. If you were using $10 units, a lay of $327 was required......figure your own value if you chose different units.

It's apparent that this method will work, but of course, ALL chases will work if you have the bankroll. I guess it's up to individual preferences to determine if the reward is worth the risk.

This was a pain in the butt to compile, however it may answer some questions. As always, good luck with you action.

I get it that it was the play and it had a x% chance of winning but Oh my bejesus ya'll my units are small (man that sounds funny every time I read it

) and @ 300 even coming down to cap off at like -235 it was still more then I could bring myself to do.

Just curious if anyone else had the same dilemma?

You need to play the run line not the money line on these plays.

well I that would work but even then it was at -165 and they had to hit by 2 runs. Yeah the juice is lower but your actually raising the % of potential failure. I know its called "betting" for a reason but are we not in this for the most profit at the least amount of exposure?

maybe I am just upset at realizing that is the least amount of exposure with the most chance of success.

I had -157 for the Phillies RL. I have only been playing this system since July 9th but it was the first time I had to lay anything higher than -150 on a game. 3 other times I got in at higher than -140.

Yes, remember, the ML dictates the play on the RL.

It's rare that you find a play where it's the road team and the price is -150 or higher, but I didn't think the price was outlandish.

Did anyone see Roy Halladay last night? Looked awful; he has to have a sore neck this morning from whipping it around to see all those balls rattle off the outfield fence. I think he's realized the extent of all those potential postseason dollars he won't be getting.
