I'm not sure who would give them a chance.

Ok, I'm not gonna beat around the bush. Can anyone give me a reason why the Yankees win this series because I have a bit of money on them?

With Wright on the mound tomorrow, the yanks dead bats tonight, and the fact that it is at detroit tomorrow has me thinking there is no way....

Wright actually isn't as bad as people seem to think - I'd certainly rather have him on the mound than RJ. Still not crazy about the Yankees chances, but I can easily see them winning tomorrow.

Hell ya i'd give them a chance to win. I just wouldn't be going out of my way to bet on it though.

Tigers wrap this thing up in game 4. Like I said before. Split in New York, and sweep the two at home.

The Tigers better win it at home because I highly doubt they will win in 5 in Yankees stadium on sunday night IMO

New York's bullpen better show show up because you know Wright is only good for six innings.

I am very dissapointed with the Yankees as of late. actually I am angry as well.. But you can't keep this lineup down for long.. Yankees need to get their swagger back, and a big showing tomorrow would do just that.. Yankee fans are praying Bonderman doesn't pitch a gem..

PLEASE YANKEES WIN GAME 4 PLEASE!!!

With all due respect to people that bet on the Yanks... Sorry, really.

Sure, the Yanks might win THISseries and perhaps the next.
                          Will they win it all?
                          It's impossible.

How many years do you have to watch thebaseball playoffs before you figure that out?!?!?!?!??!
Sorry if I'm offensive to Yankee bettors, but damn - You're paying 'homer odds' with lousy pitching.... That sucks. Worse yet for you, is, the Yanks are going nowhere with their pen/starting rotation (Wang will crumble, as most sinkerballers in the fall - and he's their best guy).

Moose can't win 7 games, and neither can that lineup - against GOOD PITCHING, which is all they'll face the rest of the way.

If I had yanks for big dough in series and wanted to semi-escape, I would give serious consideration to start hedging that: betting detroit today and next game assuming there is one.

Did you even watch the first 3 games? It's certainly not the yankee pitching that is costing them the games, it's the bats. They were like 1-15 with men ON BASE last night, not even in scoring position.

It's hard to win games when you score 0 runs, chief.

                                      Even funnier:

Torre spoke with Giambi to inform him that he would not be in the starting lineup, but he did not speak with Rodriguez about the decision to drop him to No. 8. Rodriguez has not hit this low in the order since he was with Seattle in 1996, his first full season in the Majors.

Tigers to the ALCS. Got to love it.
