Last night's selections went a woeful 1-4-0.

Yuck. Arizona finally won haha. I am really debating whether or not I should give the BJAYs another chance. Maybe at least on the RL; cursed team.

Here's what I've got today tell me what ya'll think:
-TOR (.....it should be about time, and the matchup looks even maybe leaning more towards BOS which makes me not want to touch this...)
-PIT Pirates (Ross Ohlendorf will should rock the Astros today)
-LAA ---I dunno I see some people on this. Not exactly sure why but I do feel like that the bullpen is overused and LAA is looking for blood)
-Here's a pick I like: STL/SFG u7.5 (When the Cards go winning the game usually stay on the under. Pineiro and Cain are in today also.)
- ATL again. Jurrjens and Garland. don't think Zona will make a tremendous home stand (ATL is also looking for blood).

Hey Therbs, like your plays, especially Atlanta, but got burned by them last night. The only thing about Atlanta that bothers me, is they have scored 13 less runs than they have given up.

I'm looking at game 2 of Oakland vs Texas tonight. I will write it up soon.

Oakland:
Gio Gonzalez is pitching the nightcap for the A's. He has 2 relief appearances this season and has given up 7 runs in 8 innings. He has given up 11 hits and 7 walks in those 8 innings. He didn't fare much better in the games he pitched last season too.

Texas:
Edgar Feldman is going for Texas in the 2nd game. In his last 3 games, he is 3-0 with an ERA of 1.89 and a WHIP of 1.00.......... In his 7 starts this season, he has never given up more than 3 runs (twice).

Texas lost 2 of 3 to the NYY, who have been baseball's hottest team. Going with the better hitting team with the better pitcher.

PICK: Texas (RL +125) 2 units .....too much juice, not good value
Record: 11-4 (+8.5 units)

Well, Foghorn and I have kinda been watching a certain way to pick games...and it's been going quite well, so if you don't mind TA, I will post them here...or if you don't want this thread cluttered, I'll just post them else where...

All are money line plays for now...and if it's + money, you just bet one unit, and if it's - money, you bet w/e it takes to win 1 unit...

Sorry this is late but I was taking my better half to her PT and OT appointments. Generally speaking, if there's nothing less than 30 minutes before the game starts, it's a pass from this end.

If that is a compliment (I am not sure), thank you. I couldn't go as heavy as you on TOR, but they are looking good so far. Ya know, if the numbers don't add up; the emotion plays in, and cannot be calculated by any weatherman. I hope this wins for you; I've got a moderate amount on them too.

TA. This thread, and the tourney are the only things I really post in here; that, and the occasional shot we all like to take at our man JJGold . I am a stock investor, and currently a mechanic (just got back from work; this job is interfering grr ). Normally, I just observe on the sidelines here; but as this is a classy thread (compliment) I am happy to contribute what I can amateur as I may be.

Up +2.7u yesterday...

And, I was backtracking, and it seems it's better off to take the -1.5 because it's hitting above 50% (yesterday all the game except Chicago won by 2 or more) and at 50%, the ++ money is always a nice bonus.

Chicago Cubs -1.5 (+135)
Kansas City -1.5 (+180)
Arizona (+111)

Sometimes I wonder if they read message boards and see who the board is on and then play accordingly the other way.
Not really, but at times it feels that way - a teams "ace" who has been fine until now decides to give up gopher balls while their opponent's tosser, fifth man in the rotation, goes eight innings without giving up a couple of singles.

It was and not a problem. Everyone can only do what they can and it's fine. Think about it for a few, what kind of people would back a team that dropped 7, 8, 9 + in a row? Sick as it may be for the string of loses they had, I ended up cash positive was a once again not so pretty won-loss record. This ain't about being pretty, it's about getting it done.

Thank you Foghorn. I've always looked at things a little differently than most. Everyone who contribute positively to this thread helps all of us. What works for some, might not for others but that's fine. Sometimes when "your way" is hitting a wall, you can consider some of the alternate ways/selections listed in here. There is no need to "snap" at anyone - it's not done here, maybe other threads go for that sort of thing (drama) but I'll pass on it here. There's more than just gambling going on here.
