Never bet against your team! This paid off in a way for me. I am proud of their victory, and don't regret not cashing on it. I am just glad I didn't bet against them. A wise man once said the smartest bet is the bet not taken!
On a side note TA; I was at a diner tonight in Chicago with a few pals, and a guy with a Detroit Jersey threatened to hurt a man's wife. I've got nothing against Detroit (I love the team, and I know good people from your town), but this guy got in a fight with another man over a game...ridiculous. Some other guy cracked a comment about the Wings "takin it hard tonight." It was in good humor. The jersey guy made a big scene, and started threatening the guys wife instead of him saying he's going to come over and "give it hard" to her; my table and another got up and asked him to leave. He said his team will destroy the hawks and he will destroy the woman too. We grabbed this guy, and threw him out on the street. What a scum bag degenerate.Comment -

You SHOULD be proud of the Blackhawks win yesterday, they earned it.
Just remember, not everyone is like that person here and might have been taking their frustrations out there. Not saying what he did was right or acceptable, it wasn't, and be assured had I been there I would have helped remove him. It's one thing to be in a pub and have "game banter" but most know when to stop and won't cross the line. Just like this evening one of the guys I've known for 10-15 years came into to town, came knocking on our door all decked out in CO garb with two tickets in his hand - so we'll be going to the game this evening. There's good people and bad people in every city, try not to let the actions of one dil-hole cause you to lose perspective.Comment -

Cool. We may riot, burn shit to the ground in celebrations but we all, make that most of us, know better than to run your mouth to that degree. Great example for you tonight. A bud of mine for 10-15 years came to town, knocked on the door in CO grab with a couple tickets to tonights CO/DET game. The crowd around us, ran their mouth pretty good to him during the game and kept the cuss words pretty low as their were a few children in the area and too close to not hear them if they were said. He took it all in stride (good natured fun/ribbing) and was bought a couple beers buy those jaw jackers. FYI, his ass is asleep in the couch right now as all that beer and fresh air knocks him out.
CO won the game. The wagers won and pushed, so it turned up to be a good night for Tiger baseball. Anyhow, game four should be back in line with the rest of the series.
