This means I do the research.

Today, take Texas as McCarthy is pitching well for a spot. Texas is also playing for the postseason, still. Texas bats continued to explode yesterday, and they will again in Arlington parking lot.

Price is a good rookie, but he relies on a fastball, and that spell disaster in a wide park. TB has mailed it in the last few weeks as their bullpen has demoralized the team. There is a lot of infighting/finger pointing in the TB club house.

I bet 500 at pinnacle +1 run line -120. The +1 is gift really and won't be needed, but it's peace of mind if it becomes close late. TB closers tend to implode!

I'll share my pick here for the rest of the year.

OH, Still thinking about them. I'm originally from Arizona and I generally try to avoid being a "homer" although I grew up in Wisconsin and still put money on the Packers all the time. I bet on the Steelers in the SB, but cheered for the Cards. As far as Az goes, Jim Rome said it best - "Soft Town - Soft Teams"
Suns have been losing every big opportunity all the way back to the coin flip for Lew Alcindor in 1967. Coyotes are a mess. D-Backs bought a WS, but now are just a AAA team. Phoenix fans are fair weather, band wagon types and everyone loves the Cards now that they are winning. They weren't anywhere to be found in the 20 years prior. i think the Cards have a shot playing an Indy team off a short week at home tho, but anything can happen with that team. End of rant.

Good idea vanscott...they've shut down their 'closer' JP Howell for the year. Alternate runline at Pinnacle is -1.5 @ +203 for Texas.
