#5817So far so good. Now if the Dodgers can get over that run scoring machine they encountered in Pittsburgh and beat the Powerhouse Padres, I'll be a real happy guy.Comment -

#5828There is a season long best bet's contest over in the Hockey forum. It costs 20 points to enter, for the first four persons from this thread who join I will transfer each of you 10 points. The contest in it's simplest form is to pick a team that will win (money-line), total (over/under) and/or spread (+/- 1' goals). It's an easy and fun season long contest plus, there are chances to win points along the way. Once I see you're in the contest, the next time I log in, I will transfer you, the first four from here who enter, 10 points.is calling!

#5829Great job. Good write up before man. The key to making money this late in the season is being selective. The was I looked at this one was Minnesota cutting Detroit's lead in Central to 1. Verlander in (by the way, how many innings did he go for?). Close game + somewhat equal matchup + key SP in = definite edge for the losing team (especially with standings in mind).
Getting chilly here in Chicago as well. When it gets cold over here, you sure as hell know it! Should be interesting to see the Lions play the Bears (or maybe too soon). Dunno where you all are from, but here in the Midwest the seasons strike you hard. It is a test of will. Everyone adjusts after a period of time; question is who adjusts the fastest.
I dunno about next Sunday; weather says somewhere in the 60's.Comment -

#5833True, at the end of the day it is about positive units, and that is it. I am not getting greedy; just reevaluating how I want to manage my money. Yes, I do like these plays quick a bit; I am hoping for positive units, and that is all.Comment -

Saw you should be getting wet stuff as well for the weekend too. Anyone thinking about hitting the books before game day better have a real good read.
Thank you. You're welcome to join us in our NHL thread (Two minutes For Roughing"If not, find us sooner so you can have a productive summer.
Winter coat plus long-johns, a Colt 45 40 ouncer for the bus ride to the game and a flask of gin for the game. Going to be on the coldside tonight. Tonight sitting in LF with one of the local so I can make in-game wagers with him.
