Spetember is killing me.
BOS 0 for last 6
STL 0 for last 3
LAD 0 for last 4
NYY drop 2 out of 3 to KC at home
ATL can't get it done at home
I play against Zambrano and he throws a 2 hit shut out. I play on him and he gets worked at home by a last place team.
Nothing going to form.
It's been fun, but I'm afraid I'm done with baseball for the year.
Hey, VegasPlayer at least you gave it a good shot brutha, and I hope you learned a thing or two. Postseason is not about grinding; it is about patience. What did you pick up this month? Words of wisdom.

I was thinking about that one too. Oda, what are you doing differently in September than you would have before? What would you say is the primary factor for these games?
I have been checking lineup prior to the games a lot lately, like Boston today, once I saw their lineup, I KNEW they were even trying to win that game. So I bet on the Jays, but I don't why I didn't have the guts to lay more.
Three teams I will be looking to wager on if they are favs... Tigers, Twins, Rockies, maybe Braves,
Other than that, I am looking at dogs...
But yeh, that +9.5 line was very generous, now I know why, LOL!

Thanks Therber. Lessons learned. Gotta pick your spots in September. Teams making the late push wouldn't have been in the spot they were if they had played consistently all year. Personally, too much on the plate. Bases, Football, & trying to get ready for hockey with hoops right around the corner is alot. Still think alot of teams will be surprised next week thinking they can just throw a switch and they'll play like they did in July and August. But, that's another discussion.

Vegas,
"BOS 0 for last 6
STL 0 for last 3
LAD 0 for last 4"
No doubt, you expect a few losses in there, even 7 or 8 say. But 13? .... I've felt the heat of that run right there, too...

Good call ODA. Read a couple articles in the Boston & LA papers paper last night and it reinforces your analysis. They're on cruise control. Last wednesday alone, Francona used 17 different position players.
Still pissed about Zambrano tho. He damn near staged a hold up for money with that club and has been nothing more than a meat ball since.

GL to all... Have fun at the game Terry!
Game was great, not just because they won, but they played like they had something to prove. Dare I say, I thought I saw the swagger return. Bang the homers today.

I tried to find a meatball icon to go along with what you said, but couldn't find it

TA, will the fact that Nate Robertson is pitching concern you? I am tempted to jump on Tigers TT over, if they win, they will need to score IMO.

Adam at bat, 1 out, runner on first.
Toss to first - not even close, he's safe.

Baker tosses to first again. A little closer but still safe.
Pop out to right.

Runner remains at first.
