Being an Aussie with a relatively small grasp of baseball & what each situation calls for but should they not have sacrificed bunt they to get the runner to 2nd with only 1 out????

Unbelievable how Heath Bell still has a job as a closer. How many chances can you possibly get? Think D Backs need to go after a closer. K Rod has made a nice comeback.

usually i would agree with you, but not in that situation. you had aaron hill up there, who is one of the best dback hitters, especially against the fastball. if you sacrifice with him, then that would leave first base open for them to intentionally walk goldy, and now they have worked past the best part of their lineup, and still worked the potential for a double play. but yes, in most situations, i do advocate for the sacrifice bunt to move the runner over the second in those types of scenarios.

Personally, I simple said that I loved the Marlins as a play and was on them myself. I liked the play in of itself independent of the result. You need to either stop jumping to conclusions or don't reference you "guys" and single someone out if you're not referring to me...

I kind of like it. Arizona is a hot mess after being swept, and they used a ton of bullpen help last night. With that being said, backing Gallardo at the BOB seems like a losing proposition.

Also looking at Texas and maybe Colorado. Not sure why the StL line is so low.
