usually i would agree with you, but not in that situation. you had aaron hill up there, who is one of the best dback hitters, especially against the fastball. if you sacrifice with him, then that would leave first base open for them to intentionally walk goldy, and now they have worked past the best part of their lineup, and still worked the potential for a double play. but yes, in most situations, i do advocate for the sacrifice bunt to move the runner over the second in those types of scenarios.Originally posted by 1Time!Comment -
