Just because I am new to the site, it does not mean i'm a n00b. I'm not disagreeing with you saying betting all favorites all the time is a good idea but you're not offering any other input. I appreciate all the cappers on this forums for taking their time and putting up their picks and explaining why they decide to go one way versus the other. I already have my picks but if there is something I missed then I take their input into consideration. They are being helpful, you are not. You are just blatantly coming into this thread and saying all these negative shit that is useless.

Here's my thing, I spread my units out because I honestly feel there is an edge in most games. If there's only a small edge, I bet small and vice versa. I could go 10-4 and lose, but there's a pretty small chance of that happening. I've made good money the past two years betting baseball using my own posted picks and mixing it up with parlays on the larger plays.

No offense, but Lee is right in his analysis. I have nothing against Pluthero, but that kind of betting style is a definite loser long-term. The combination of too many plays and too much chalk. Variance will kill you. The betting style is so volatile it is going to lead to huge swings. In any given year of course he might be up a ton, but just as easily he can be down a hundred units. You see in a matter of days he lost 50+ units. Someone mentioned earlier that he can go 10-4 and still lose units. Swings will happen in both directions, but I can't imagine that this is a long term winning strategy.

No offense taken, and he's not right. You make the same argument that he does (although much more coherently...thank you for that), but still provide no evidence to back it up. You shouldn't be looking at it year to year. You should be looking at it based on plays. 347 plays is not a small sample size. I have 732 plays before today's and am not quite 14 units in the red. That's about 92 units in the black over 1,079 plays.

Yes swings will happen. They happen no matter what your style of betting. At the end of the year (or at least August) I will be in the black because the swings even out over time. That's the beauty of math.
