I like Dodgers in game 1 for a small play...
Kuroda gets no run support and it's about time the Dodgers really stopped the bleeding. They will have a "positive chip" on their shoulder with Mattingly returning to NY today...
Neither of these pitchers could be considered a slouch but I think Ryu will have a pretty damned good outing today being on a full weeks rest.
Both teams are banged up, but I see the bigger holes in the Yanks lineup... I like the plus money for the Dodgers in a likely low scoring game 1 for today...
I see you avoided both of them. I actually like the Yanks later on tonight... What were your thoughts on this double-header?

Thanks for bringing the double header to my attention. When I finished capping the first game the line wasn't out in my book yet and I forgot to go back and check on it. I like the Dodgers too, and for all the reasons you stated. I'm adding it to my list of plays.

I don't believe in teams being due. Danks and Diamond are pretty much equal in my opinion, I just think Danks is the hotter pitcher at the moment and should be able to pick them up despite their offensive struggles. He has allowed less than a baserunner per inning which usually points to bad luck when you have an ERA of 4.5 and you're 1-3.
