Honestly, the polls are going to be volatile and not very helpful for the next month. Let's see where things stand mid-August and then against after the first or second debate.

After Mrs. Clinton gets raked through the coals in the first two debates do you really think
she will show up for the final debate and face further embarrassment?

At least you're accepting and admitting your mistakes in your own way.

Any poll that give Clinton a 14 pt lead was probably run by Reverend Wright, Father Flager,
Louis Farrakhan & Bill Ayers with clipboards in hands tallying votes in center city Chicago!

This is as of yesterday so it's probably out of date...
Clinton is up 3.2 according to the averages of all the polls.
It's still too early to grasp a true idea of who may win.
Michael Dukakis was up big on Bush Sr.
Carter was up big on Reagan.

psst...
national polls = meaningless
state polls = flip a coin for meaningful or meaningless
clinton outspending trump by $100+ million on ads and still going down in the polls.

the only poll that matters to Reich wingers are the Fox News polls. any poll outside the bubble is illegitimate.

Who do you listen too? Many were calling for Donald to win the primaries, he has been leading in the polls from the beginning. As for the general, he is the underdog. You can poo poo math and statistics all you want, but they are right more often than not, by a large margin.

Wow are you really that stupid. Trump never was leading in the sportsbooks until he beat Rubio in Florida,
that was far from the beginning.

Look your probably an OK person but this happens way too much. Maybe you have a friend who knows what's
going on & you should probably check with that person before posting.
Trump beating clinton in 3 of the last 4 polls. Part of this is likely due to the RNC bump, and the DNC hasn't started yet.
RNC bump has Trump within margin of error on rcp which has a well known right wing bias. Not very impressive

If it's only even as of now, that is very bad for Trump. Nominee should have clear lead heading out of own convention.

Not true, the real leads occur after debates start taking place. Conventions just fire up your base, it's nothing but cheerleading on both sides. Debates tell the story!

After this start at the DNC with Clinton getting booed every time her name is mentioned anyone who thinks
Clinton will get a boost out of this convention is nuts.
The convention theme is "united Together" whoops!

Get this, same poll!
Race:
White: Trump 56, Clinton 31
Other: Trump 59, Clinton 32
Hispanic: Trump 36, Clinton 52
Black: Trump 5, Clinton 80
So Trump getting 41% of Hispanics & 6% of Blacks
While Mitt got getting 27% of Hispanics & 4% of Blacks
Definitely landslide numbers for Trump if percentages hold &
trends seem to say they will.

So what you do is put the current voting percentages into place that is
Whites 64%, Hispanic 41%, Blacks 6% into:
bring down the black turnout 5 pts as Obama isn't running & the RCP election scenario calculator gives us:
Trump 68,500,000 votes, 52.6% of popular votes & 330 electoral College vote
Ms. Clinton 61,500,000 votes, 47.4% of popular votes & 208 electoral College vote
That's the way it looks!
