Newcastle Over 12.5 shots (-125)
Newcastle doesn't need to dominate the ball to generate volume. They showed us that in their season opener, when they had sub-40% possession. But the biggest reason to support the Newcastle shooting line isn't their output, but it's what happened to Tottenham.
The Spurs gave up 26 shots and 40 box touches to Brentford in Matchweek 1. Newcastle's tactical identity under Matthias Jaissle should emphasize vertical attacks and transitions, and Tottenham very much looks like a side that is still going to need time to sort its defensive structure.
We don't need Newcastle to score or win on the road, just to keep firing away.

I'm fully expecting Tottenham to look better than in their opener, to have the bulk of possession (although perhaps not by an extreme margin), but Newcastle is still a dangerous squad when they do nick the ball.
With repeated transition opportunities, and Tottenham still sorting things out, I expect the pressure will be too much for the home side.

Anthony Elanga Over 1.5 shots (+120)
It's just a one-unit total card here for me. There's far too much change in both clubs: Tottenham, who have spent over £300 million in the transfer market, with new faces across their starting XI, and Newcastle, who have lost several key players, particularly in midfield (Tonali, Bruno).
But Elanga seems particularly well suited to generate shots in transition, and he's coming in fresh after playing just about half an hour in the midweek Carabao Cup victory. While he didn't record a shot in that one, he's coming off a two-shot performance in the opener (one of which was scored), and at +120 we only need to hit this about 45.5% of the time. I think it's probably closer to 52-55% that this comes through.
Historically he's averaged just over 1 shot per 90, but this matchup suits his skill set. Few players on the Magpies are better suited to take advantage of transitional attacking spaces. Wings accounted for seven Brentford shots last week (Schade for five, Ouattara for two).
