My best North Carolina vs. TCU touchdown scorer predictions for Saturday's noon E.T. game at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, focus on both passing attacks. Each team introduces a new quarterback, but key receivers are returning for both squads, and I expect them to have solid games.

Below, I explain why my best college football Week 0 predictions focus on Jordan Dwyer, Jordan Shipp, and Lafayette Kaiuway. The college football season opener will air on ESPN and stream live on Disney+. TCU is a 9.5-point betting favorite.

💰 North Carolina vs. TCU best touchdown scorer bet

Jordan Dwyer, WR, TCU: Anytime touchdown (+130 via bet365)

Last season, Dwyer finished second on TCU with seven touchdown receptions. Against North Carolina in the season opener, he caught nine passes for 136 yards and one touchdown

Dwyer will have to adjust to Jaden Craig as his quarterback, but with Craig making his first start as a Horned Frog, I expect him to focus on the team's best receiver to get comfortable. Another positive for Dwyer is that Craig has thrown at least 23 touchdowns in back-to-back seasons.

If you're betting on Dwyer, then back him at bet365. His price there is +130, while it's as low as +105 at DraftKings.

🔬 SBR EDGE

Dwyer finished last season strong, scoring four touchdowns in his final four games. He's the only TCU player returning with more than 22 receptions last season.

🔥 More North Carolina vs. TCU touchdown scorer picks

Jordan Shipp, WR, North Carolina: Anytime touchdown (+200 via FanDuel)

North Carolina finished 126th in points per game and 100th in passing yards per game last season. Yet, I still like Shipp in this matchup. For starters, Shipp caught four passes for 84 yards against TCU last season. He also finished the year with a touchdown in four of his final five games

Shipp's new quarterback, Billy Edwards Jr., threw for 2,881 yards and 15 touchdowns two years ago with Maryland. Edwards and Shipp have a great chance to start strong, as TCU's defense allowed 25 passing touchdowns last season, tied for 120th in the nation.

The most favorable odds for Shipp to score are at FanDuel where he's listed at +200. Other sportsbooks, such as DraftKings, have him listed as low as +160.

Lafayette Kaiuway, TE, TCU: Anytime touchdown (+1200 via DraftKings)

Kaiuway has caught just three passes in his career, but one of those receptions was for a touchdown. Kaiuway should run more routes this season with the departure of DJ Rogers, who finished with 34 receptions and two touchdowns last season.

Last season, TCU tight ends caught four receiving touchdowns. This isn't an offense that will ever run through its tight ends, but it will utilize them. And more importantly, Craig loves getting his tight ends involved. Last season with Harvard, 10 of his 25 touchdown passes were thrown to tight ends.

The price at DraftKings makes this one of the most valuable plays of the day. The same prop is going for just +450 at FanDuel.
