My Premier League best bets for Matchweek 10 feature Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham, and a match in which goals should be at a premium.

My best bet features the Gunners, who are in the driver’s seat after nine matches and face an opponent they should have no trouble dispatching. I’ve also covered Friday’s match between Everton and Coventry.

Best Premier League bet

Arsenal vs. Hull City: Arsenal ML & Over 2.5 goals (-150 via BetMGM)

It’s one of those matches Arsenal usually take no prisoners in. The top-of-the-table Gunners are a perfect 5-0-0 at the Emirates in the Premier League and Champions League, outscoring opponents 12-2.

They scored three goals in two of those matches, and only one of five tilts ended with fewer than three goals. Hull City have been impressive since gaining promotion, tied for 11th place with three other teams.

However, three of Hull’s four away matches were against Coventry, Newcastle, and Fulham. The other was at Stamford Bridge against a Jekyll-and-Hyde Chelsea. I believe they will fail Saturday’s litmus test against an immeasurably tougher opponent at the Emirates.

Everton vs. Coventry: Under 2.5 goals (+116 via FanDuel)

While oddsmakers fancy the Over, I vehemently disagree. Everton kept a clean sheet in four of nine matches and two of four at Hill Dickenson Stadium.

The Toffees have a knack for expertly shutting the door at home against inferior opponents, and Coventry have not looked good on their travels.

They scored two goals in four games, one against Spurs and the other against the worst home team, Nottingham Forest. And with 8.3 expected goals, Coventry also struggle to create chances. That is the fewest expected goals output in the top flight.

David Moyes will use all of his experience and wisdom to frustrate Frank Lampard’s men in a 1-0 victory.

Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester City: Man City ML (-145 via FanDuel)

Man City have lost two straight top-flight matches, providing an opportunity to back them on the road against the worst home team at permissible -145 odds. The Cityzens bounced back midweek with a 3-2 Champions League victory in Germany against RB Leipzig.

Man City haven’t lost three in a row for two years, and I don’t expect them to fall to that same fate against a Nottingham Forest side that has picked up one point from four home matches. That came in a 0-0 draw with Spurs, who at the time were the laughing stock of the top flight.

Leeds vs. Tottenham: Tottenham ML (+170 via FanDuel)

I’m running with the hot hand here, as Tottenham have emphatically turned things around. Spurs enter on a four-match unbeaten run and a three-match win streak after getting the better of Coventry, Chelsea, and Crystal Palace.

Roberto De Zerbi’s men are oozing confidence and self-belief after a woeful start to the campaign. Spurs’ sizzling form is not the only reason I’m backing them to win in a hostile environment.

Entering on a five-match winless run, Leeds are enduring a worrying malaise. They mustered two goals in that stretch and were shut out in the previous two against Bournemouth and Sunderland.
