Matchweek 5 in England's top flight gets started on Friday, and I've pinpointed my best Premier League goal scorer bets for an intriguing slate of fixtures.
I'm eyeing Morgan Rogers to keep up his brilliance in front of goal, while Bukayo Saka's recent form in the final third points to lots of chances for his fourth of the campaign on Saturday as Arsenal lock horns with Brighton.
Read on to see all four of my best goal scorer props for the weekend.
🔮 Premier League best goal scorer bets: Matchweek 5
Here are my Premier League predictions for Matchweek 5 as part of our soccer picks this week.
| Match | Bet | Odds |
|---|---|---|
| Brentford vs. Chelsea | Morgan Rogers anytime goal | +220 via DraftKings |
| Brighton vs. Arsenal | Bukayo Saka anytime goal | +240 via DraftKings |
| Sunderland vs. Man City | Erling Haaland anytime goal | -145 via DraftKings |
| Fulham vs. Man United | Bryan Mbeumo anytime goal | +210 via DraftKings |
💰 Best Premier League goal scorer bet: Morgan Rogers (+220 at DraftKings)
Morgan Rogers has been flying high since joining Chelsea, with the Englishman already bagging three goals in four Premier League appearances. He's been consistently involved in the Blues' lethal attack, and I'm eyeing him to hit the back of the net again on Friday against Brentford.
Rogers is getting himself into dangerous areas on a weekly basis. He's averaging 5.42 touches per 90 in the opposition box, and he's among the best in the top flight in SOG per 90 as well.
Brentford has only conceded four times this term, but they allowed two goals to Bournemouth last weekend, and Rogers' strike rate in this fixture is solid. He's netted twice in five Premier League outings against the Bees. Also, Joao Pedro is sidelined with an injury, which puts more attacking pressure on Rogers.
At +240, there's plenty of value on Rogers to step up and deliver.

Bukayo Saka (+205 at DraftKings)
Arsenal's Bukayo Saka is flourishing early on. The youngster has scored three times already this term, and he's consistently putting himself in dangerous positions for the title-holders.
Saka has four SOG in his last two games, and he's averaging 2.14 shots on target per 90. That's one of the top marks in the Premier League.
The Gunners face Brighton on Saturday, and Saka has found the back of the net twice in his last four meetings with the Seagulls. After scoring on Matchday 4, I'll take the Englishman to do his part again here.

Erling Haaland (-145 at DraftKings)
I predicted Haaland to be the difference-maker in the Manchester derby last weekend, and he proceeded to score the winner, even if the goal technically shouldn't have counted due to an offside in the buildup.
Regardless, Haaland continues to fire home goals at a ridiculous rate, leading the top flight with four goals in four appearances. The Norwegian also bagged two goals on Champions League Matchday 1. He is thriving.
Haaland has 11 SOG in his last four matches across all competitions, and he's averaging 0.83 non-penalty xG per 90. Sunderland conceded twice to Arsenal last weekend, and they'll now be tasked with trying to contain one of the deadliest finishers on the planet.
The Black Cats will fail to keep him at bay.

Bryan Mbeumo (+210 at DraftKings)
Bryan Mbeumo has two goals in four appearances this term, but the underlying numbers suggest he should have even more. The Cameroonian international ranks in the 95th percentile in the Premier League for xG per 90, averaging 0.70.
He's also creating plenty of chances. The Manchester United star is averaging 3.50 shots per 90, while consistently getting himself into dangerous areas in the final third.
What's also interesting is that 11 of his 14 shots this season have come from inside the box. His track record against Sunday's opponents, Fulham, is impressive, too. Mbeumo has netted three times in eight meetings with the Cottagers.
At +210, there's great value here.
