Norway may have only one win against Portugal in their history, but their last meeting was 10 years ago, and the Nordic outfit has never had a team this strong. Stale Solbakken's men just made an impressive run to the World Cup quarterfinals this past summer and have won six of their last 10 games, with just two defeats.
As for Portugal, their World Cup journey ended earlier than they'd hoped, but the Seleção's loss to Spain in the Round of 16 was their only defeat in their previous 10 outings.
Both teams are coming off wins on Matchday 1, and there isn't much separating these sides on paper. With Portugal proving difficult to break down defensively and Norway showing they can compete with the world's best, I could see a cagey, hard-fought affair ultimately ending level.

I've discussed why I believe both sides will snatch a point in Oslo, but I don't expect a quiet attacking performance from either team. The weapons in the final third are too clinical to ignore.

Who else? Erling Haaland carried his World Cup form right into the domestic campaign with Manchester City, already bagging a Premier League-leading five goals in as many appearances. That brilliance in the final third hasn't disappeared in this international break, either.
Haaland powered Norway to victory over Denmark on Thursday, netting a brace in the 3-2 win on home soil. Just like at Man City, the Norwegian system is built around getting the ball to Haaland in dangerous areas, and his instinct for goal is second to none. He's also scored 64 times in 56 appearances for his country.
Even against a strong Portuguese backline, I expect Haaland to make his presence felt on Sunday.
